Microsoft claims that it should still fit on a memory card, i guess we'll see when its released. Who saves on a memory card anyways, i'm sure everyone that actually uses live has the harddrive.
The xbox 360 version had more foilage in the background, see in the imperial city picture, there isn't grass or shrubs in the background.

I totally agree, LP has more variety then the standard Team Deathmatch of Gears.

ya but what about the game saves, far cry maps and other such files that simply can't be downloaded. Also it would take time to download everything back to the new drive.
Its not a slim xbox 360, only internal changes. Sony had a die shrink for the ps2 after launch aswell. To the consumer all they will see is an extra port and maybe more space on the harddrive due to the cost of technology decreasing and MS now able to higher capacity drives at a lower cost.
All I hope is microsoft include some type of USB cable that you plug your new drive to the xbox 360 and automatically copy everything over to the new drive.
You know some of the hardware profit goes to Nvidia and Intel right, for B/C. I stand behind the fact that HDMI is not needed for gaming. The only thing you need HDMI is for loseless audio. Sony included a blu-ray player in the ps3 therefore MUST include HDMI, on the other hand microsoft did NOT include HD-DVD and focused on getting the games right, component can do full 1080p for games and audio can be pushed out throught toslink.

Whats the big deal anyways, all you ppl act like it never happened before. Did sony bend over when they released the ps1 slim or the ps2 slim. Did Nintendo bend over when they releasted the Gameboy pocket, SP, ds lite, gamecube lite (wii :)). Or how about that shiny new video card you spent $500 on becomes so last month. Better than being bought by EA. Capcom has a bunch of exclusives in the works for xbox 360 and im sure they'll let them finish off any ps3 or wii projects they have. It would most likely be engulfed by Microsoft Game Studios Japan.
I agree with him, Cell is not for games. There is a reason why this was a joint venture with TOSHIBA and IBM. This is more media servers, diagnotic computering and parallel number crunching not consumer gaming. Games are not only made by million dollar publishers but also by smaller studios aswell. This is why the xbox 360 as a platform will grow. Physical size doesnt matter. Its the quality of the movies. On HD-DVD they can fit full 1080p with True HD audio and all the bonus content with space to spare so obviously space is not an issue. Also HD-DVD titles use VC-1 which IMO looks tons better than MPEG compression. Come on the reason to go to High Def is to get better quality and as of now HD-DVD is the better quality and its cheaper. And if you have an xbox 360 its only $200 to got HD-DVD.
