If you take away smartphones and only talk about actual gaming systems, the numbers are probably closer to 80% physical
250,000k units in a week? All the spots in hardware & software? Nintendomination
YEEHA! Some call these 'Nintendo Direct'. I call em 'Mini E3' New 3DS game announcement would be my biggest dream
How hard is this to figure out: if you own something, you decide what to do with it. That's it, get over it. If you created something that was hugely popular, but a week after it became popular, other people started making the same product and they had more advertising & production resources so their version of the product sold millions while yours sold hundreds, you'd be pissed off as ****. That is the purpose of copyright. Nintendo feels that showing off key points of a game...
3DS is establishing a dynasty. I'm REALLY hoping 2014 sees the return of major 3rd party pubs like EA, Ubi, & Act to the little handheld that could
There are a few Dreamcast games I'd like to see on 3DS. 'Toy Commander' and 'Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future' are the ones that come to mind at the moment
Would it work? I don't care. I'd buy it. As long as it comes to retail
The score listed on N4G is incorrect. The reviewer actually scored the game a 4/5. That makes a pretty big difference from average to good
I like where your heads at
Pac & Snake. Snake & Pac
This is why I don't support anything digital. Physical products last forever (as perfectly evidenced by my 22 year old Game Gear & games working perfectly to this day) and digital ones will all eventually fade away in the night
The last thing this guy has done in the industry is be the acting president of a company (THQ) that had to file for bankruptcy. He is the FIRST guy I'd listen to about business decisions wink, wink
If these numbers are even close to accurate, 3DS will be the highest-selling console in US for 7th straight month. If I was a third party with a ridiculously powerful IP, shouldn't I maybe consider bringing it to the most popular console?...ahem, Assassin's Creed...cough, cough, Call of Duty
Retail releases come out far too sparsely on the Vita. But the ones that do come out are absolute blockbusters
Never been big into the R & C franchise. But 'Into the Nexus' looks like by far the best entry in my estimation and I would pick it up fo sho
If you read the actual article and not the headline, it says 14% of the parents polled said they would buy their kid a handheld gaming device, and only 8% said they'd buy em a smartphone. Those are the only facts that interest me since I'm purely a handheld gamer
I am one of those people obsessed with Pac. I've watched the show this game is based on a few times. And I severely hope that obese yellow glob makes it into Super Smash Bros. 4. I wasn't planning on getting this game. I figured it would suck and/or be too easy.
But this review marks the fourth critic score I've seen of at least 64% positive, which ain't hideous. Couple that with a 7 outta 10 user review on Gamefaqs and 4 out 5 star user review on Amazon,...
I added up all the US hardware sales from the VGChartz this month to see if the 3DS had any chance to do the unthinkable and lead the US in hardware sales for a SEVENTH straight month. The numbers showed (though, I had to make an educated guess as to how many of the 3DS's sales from the week ending on November 2nd actually came in November):
-PS4 is in 1st by 90,000 units
-3DS is second
-Xbox1 is 335k behind 3DS.
The Little Nintendo Han...
I played this for the 1st time recently. Fun game and good chiptune music
340,000 hardware units in a week. Get out of the hardware business Nintendo. Pachter, that guy who has never been right about anything, says you should
