I know the exclusive titles from Nintendo will split the 3DS & New 3DS user base. But the New 3DS appears to be very reasonably prices. You could probably trade in your current 3DS & get it for $100 or less. And as far as 3rd parties not being willing to risk developing games for the New 3DS, they can develop games that work on both but have certain enhancements or unlockables when you play on New 3DS.

With as much improvement as it makes over the current 3DS? Yes. With the fact that it could extend the lifespan of the 3DS line by several years? Yes.

This isn't just a cosmetic upgrade for the 3DS like the XL was. And it's not a weak interior upgrade like the DS to the DSi. This is a big-time cosmetic AND internal upgrade. Nintendo didn't just add more processing power, extra buttons, and an extra stick to be cute. They're going to take advantage it....

Handheld, Bros and Brosettes. I've been playing handhelds since the original Game Boy. You could never an experience like this on the go until this generation.

Yo, it's the Green Machine, gonna rock PS3, Xbox360, and 3DS without being seen. Have you ever seen a Turtle fan get down?

I misspoke about point #1. Looks like only the smaller New 3DS will have the interchangeable cover plates and multi-colored buttons. They probably did that to help the little guy compete since the XL models are so much more popular. Still, 9 major reasons to upgrade. And I didn't really emphasize one of those reasons being EXCLUSIVE games. Judging from the fact that the 1st one of those exclusive games is 'Xenoblade Chronicles', I think it's safe to say that they're g...

The New 3DS XL is amazing! While region locking doesn't exactly make me happy, since I won't be able to import E.X. Troopers, it really doesn't bother me. There are MORE than enough reasons to upgrade from my current black 3DS XL to the New 3DS XL. Let me count the ways:

1. New 3DS XL looks cooler: multi-colored buttons and customizable covers.
2. Lighter than the original 3DS XL: original XL is a little too heavy.
3. Clearer screen: original 3DS X...

If this is a legit scan, there is DEFINITELY a new system. Because if you look at where it mentions the new system, it is in between the Wii U, Wii, and 3DS.

Just because it's a new system, doesn't mean it plays a new kind of software. It is most likely a remodeled Wii U or 3DS. A 3DS XL with 2 sticks and a new AAA shooter to go with it would be ideal.

Heading into last year, I thought it was cool that Nintendo was having a Direct instead of a normal E3 presentation. After experiencing their E3 Direct last year, I can say pretty confidently that actual E3 presentations are infinitely cooler

The ONLY reason the Wii U is getting a version of Smash Bros. 4 is because it was struggling to sell. This game was built from the start to be the 1st handheld version of Smash Bros. ever. I can almost guarantee that there's no extra mode in the Wii U version at this point. They might be delaying it to come up with one, but as of right now it's the inferior version. Just be happy it exists to play on the big screen

There's some Captain America content I'm interested in. It's called "a game".

I have ZERO interest in Nintendogs, but PS Vita Pets is in my "must buy" list. What's the difference? Nintendogs is a pet raising sim. It's about as exciting as raising a pet, without the benefits of actually being able to touch the pet.

PS Vita Pets is an actual GAME. The pets talk to you. You go on adventures to haunted castles. It's not too much of a stretch to say that it's 'Homeward Bound' meets 'The Goonies'. I crave adve...

I couldn't like or dislike your comment. I too liked the first Transformers. A lot. But that was the 1st time any of us had ever seen giant robots in real life, it would be incredibly hard for anyone not to have been impressed. But after that effect wore off, I was able to see that he was raping the franchise in Part 2 and I didn't even bother seeing part 3.

Love Megan Fox. Love Shredder whether he's white or Asian. My big problem is the turtles. They look ...

It's truly sad that a person like this exists. Not even considering the fact that his opinion is disgusting to anyone who hasn't been zombified yet, A.) the 2013 cartoon is on NICKELODEON, and B.) ALL of the other live-action turtle movies came out in the 90s

Any retail release in 2014 = good release. We still have enough retail releases (excluding Vita) that we can automatically move this one, supposing the movie doesn't interest ya, to our B or C game lists. But trust me, we'll miss EVERY retail release when they're gone completely . When I had a Vita, and only a Vita, I did several tribal dances to ensure that Madagascar 3 came to the handheld. They didn't work :(
