The Vita is worth owning solely for the fact that you can use it to remotely turn on the PS4 when you're in another room. So when you walk in the room there's a futuristic device already on, beckoning you to play. And an equally futuristic device in your hand that you can use to walk back into the previous room and play the PS4 remotely

The good news about Vita, is that due to remote play with PS4, the Vita will be supported as long as the PS4 is around. Which could realistically be another 10 years. 3DS could be replaced within 2 years
Once Killzone Mercs is completed, Guerilla Cambridge can start working on their second Vita game, which should in theory be superior to Kzone Mercs, based on "The Law of Understanding System Tech"

Let's be realistic. There's only ONE AAA game announced for Vita in 2014. That's Borderlands. We have no idea if anymore are in development. No gaming system sells without retail games. iPods and IPhones are not gaming systems, they sell because they primarily handle other functions. Gaming systems need retail games. End of story
The 3DS has been the highest selling console in America for 3 straight months, and the highest selling console in Japan every month period. And it's sellin like hot cakes in Europe even though I couldn't find specific numbers over that whole period. Any developer who gives up on 3DS is an absolute idiot. There are 19 3DS games that have reached at least 900,000 copies sold and a couple that have gotten as high as 8 million.

I'm all about the Vita. The Vita XL would be awesome, but it wouldn't matter without some AAA games. The rumored AC. CoD games have already been denied, and I don't do GoW so the potential window of games to entice me to Buy the XL is tiny

Bullshit! You can never have a screen that's too big (ask 3DS XL). Vita would do well to make a new Vita with a 6" screen, better sticks, 4G, longer battery life, a removable battery, and TV output. Or at least a couple of those features. And it NEEDS to sell for $199 or less
