The complaints of buzzing is due to the sound volume and as he stated CAN simply be fixed by turning the headset off/on.
The charge doesn't last too long as well, unlike the wireless controller. Maybe about 8 hours. But then the battery on the headset is FAR from the thickness of the wireless controller. I extend the use of the headset by turning it off when I'm not in a room, or when I step away from my 360, etc.
People also complain (as do I) about the range. ...
I guess it looks like Ken has to work hard and put in extra hours now to get his PS3 too!
Check your sentence structure and grammer before using adjectives like "idiot".
What game devs will have to do to convince themselves to dev ONLY for Sony a 300-400,000 fan base as opposed to MS's almost 10 million??
Good luck with that! Cause there's aren't even enough consoles out there then to justify further production for games.
Wow! What was their original plans? "We are still on target for a Spring (2006) launch."
Game devs are now set to lose a lot of money, deving for a user base of what...300,000 worldwide??
And whose "expectations" were met or slightly exceeded??? Surely not consumers.
Last I checked, i said the PS3--not Linux, as being unable to be utilized as a client on a network. If you have Linux running on your PS3 AND it's connected to a network, I'd be real interested to see/hear more about it.
One more thing, can you READ: PS3 has 256MB RAM that is NOT UPGRADEABLE.
Chaos, what good is Linux on a 'PC', if that 'PC' is not UPGRADEABLE? You'll forever be bottlenecked with the memory limitations. I'll spend my $600 on BUILDING a Linux box, thank you.
And when I said connect it to a network, I meant with the ability of other network devices to see it/transfer data to it, etc. and the reverse.
'SERIOUS'. And that's deemed by Sony. If it overheats and shuts off/freezes, that's not serious. But if it overheats and causes a fire, they'll replace it. lol
you can install vsrious OS on the PS3 and PRETEND it's a real PC cause the majority GAMES out for it blows chunks.
BTW if it were a real PC, tell me why can't it connect to a network?
Let's see....XBL has 4.5 million users. Playstation Network has 10,000 (out of the 200,000 units sold that's my guesstimate of actual owners not looking to resale).
Now if I was a businessman looking for the best opportunity to make the most money....yeah, I'd strictly go with Sony's network! : |
NOT!
MS needs to BULLSpit more! Obviously there's a lot of 'gamers' out there who actually like to be spoon fed bullspit...just look at the Sony Fanboi camp.
The point is; DON'T go flaming MS & 360 all year long for it's problems (as MOST Sony Fanbois did) and then when it happens to your holy grail-you have excuses. Prior to PS3 release the S-Fanboi talk was; "I'd rather not have a 'RUSHED' console. The 360 overheats so I'm not buying it"...etc, etc. I need say no more.
Who's bright idea was it to put it there??? Sure not the store owners!!!!!!
Both big and bad azz but won't do spit in the war and will ultimately get sunk by American force.
First, ANY headset with a mini-plug will work on 360...AT LEAST MS starts you off with one.
Second, the Web Cam WORKS on a PC as well!
Thirdly, Bluetooth and Blu Ray are NOT STANDARD as well--else you'd see them on the Wii as well as EVERY PC/MAC.
Forthly, you DO need a PC but you don't need Vista or Media Center to view photos. You CAN connect your digital camera/iPod directly to 360 OR stream it from ANY PC (which is where most people keep their pictures st...
My PCs are left on all day....everyday. There should be no need to shut your PS3 off. In fact, isn't it 'built' to stay on so that others could use the Cell over the network?
Looks like the PS3 is akin to coal; black & shiny but ain't worth spit until 1 million years later.
It's sad that they say the thing has better audio than 360 yet if you watch the video it gets choppy. I PERSONALLY have never been in a video chat (even with 3 video feeds playing Billiards), and seen it get choppy AT ALL. BESIDES I want to see how their freinds/messanging features work IN-GAME...which is where it counts.
They also said said they were great at manufacturing hardware-implying there would be no issues. Oh and; "The HD era doesn't start until we say so"... Oh well! Sony fanboys camped out just to buy an expensive web browser.
So I hear the problem with bluetooth headsets and PS3 controllers is that once the battery goes then what? You can't buy a replacement battery for (especially) your controller as there aren't any for sale.
