Should be Sony's plans for DLC.
...when ANALysts puts out articles or release statements in attempt to sway and/or keep shareholders undiscouraged.
Fact is; I can come up with proof that Mattel's Intellivision was outselling the PS3 at this time--does it mean anything? Only to idiots who can't read between the lines.
I stated DIGITAL media...media that doesn't have to be HARDWARE-based, like Blu Ray. What have you listed that the 360 is INCAPABLE of with/without add-ons?? NOTHING.
What is the PS3 incapable of? Connecting to a PC. Streaming media. Connecting to MULTIPLE media-based devices (i.e. MP3 players, cameras, PSPs, etc). Providing unified online-rich features on a global (System-wide) scale; i.e. Friends List, etc. while viewing d/l movies, DVDs/HD-DVDs, or watching Recorded or...
Can you play games on an iPod? Yes. Do you call it a "Gaming Machine" or an 'MP3 player'??
Can you play/stream music, DVDs, d/l movies, etc. with a 360? Yes.
Do you call it a Media Center??
Be ignorant all you want-I'm stating facts. They ARE after the Living Room. MS is not contempt with just beating Sony at playing games, like-it-or-not.
Here's another clue due out this year; MS Home Server (built for all the digital media you...
gets your panties all in a knot, you should consider finding a new hobby.
Since you seem to be a Sony fan-you obviosly like bending over and taking it-so perhaps you could find work as a jailhouse pin-up??
but more like a BS article. Clearly this guy has an 'agenda' and/or is in Sony's pocket.
But, NEWSFLASH: MS didn't get into gaming to win a petty 'console war'. They got into it to win the future of Next-Gen Entertainment: your Living Room.
Their battle tools are very formidible as well; Xbox 360 (unbeatable console media capabilities with an set-top box version coming soon), Zune (built-in WiFi, connects to both PC & 360 & will soon compete with PSP &...
I could be wrong but with a company that lies and misconstrues the truth so bold & blatantly, maybe that's what I did hear.
Ah well, they still would have about 8-9 million to go to catch up to MS.
So this global XBL feature has to be implemented on a per-game basis?? And if the game isn't as big as Motorstorm then I guess it won't be done.
I'm glad I pay for my great online game experience! $4 per month out my pocket is hella steal! I used to blow $100s in the arcade back in the 80s early '90s.
MS is buying Sony's lame game division!
Check MS's website. It's just some BS Sony/fanboy anti-MS propaganda.
People need to worry about what kind of 'back-door' software Sony has installed on the PS3 and BR discs before worrying about this.
HA--It was bad business practice to delay the Euro launch for 4 months from the rest of the world. I'm sure many Euro Sony fans are "disappointed" in that-including retailers who could've showed better profits for the end quarter of 2006.
What can Sony do about this? Stopping these retailers from selling Sony products will only hurt Sony. So...nothing but grin and bear it-like the Europeans had to.
I NEVER heard nothing of the sort. Don't believe it. PURE BS. And even if it were so, there is a trail.
Play that game if you want to see what Playstation Home will be like (it's the lobby system). It's intended for Japanese audience and YES it is a 'stolen' idea but that's what the Japanese like and Sony will always cater to them first.
Why the delay on games that's been in dev for soo long? Oh well...these games (except Oblivion) are made for their online and we know they'll suck online on PS3 so why bother? Get those games on PC or 360.
It's got more games and more HIT games.
It's games look better.
It's better online and online games play better on XBL.
It's got more media features.
It's cheaper and smaller.
It's got better controllers.
It's backed by a company who isn't 'in-the-red' and has endless pockets.
It's got more great games on the horizon.
The only good news you ever hear about PS3 is about something 'down-the-road'. Either late this year or sometime...
Why would devs be scared away from doing 10 min of work which most do already on the 360 AND they know the GAMING community supports it????
It's ONLY 10 minutes work BUT it's not going to be required.
It only takes 10 seconds for the gas man to check my fluids at the pump-but it shouldn't be required.
Once again, Sony is half-stepping. They know achievments is a hit so what wouklb be the harm in requiring all games to support it?
It's the same direction (essentially)that they've taken for their online approach.
For something you can have, NOW! ...Oh yea, cause it's gonna blow the 360 away...just like Sony's 'worldwide' launch, just like the PS3's launch titles, just like the games and the system itself and just like the Playstation network! : 0
are from people who never tried the service. (Or can't read) Because they are offerring Silver (free) as well. Try the Silver-you'll buy the Gold.
Unreal, CoD, etc. were all free...but you couldn't add a friend, voice chat, invite from ANY game, etc., all from one unified system.
Again, the only complaints are from those that haven't REALLY tried it. And all that crap about; "Why should I pay to play online-that's what my ISP is for!" MS is a unif...
ROFL. It's more like a cheap imitation of it! Not the same class. Not the same league. It's like me saying VCRs are a major competitor to HD movie players.
Why doesn't he detail basic multiplayer features? How to send/accept game invites...How to add a friends...How to check/send messages...How to TALK in every game...How to do all the above, while watching a DVD/BluRay movie...How to play GLOBAL users in another REGION...
Oh nevermind...I forgot...It's the P...
