Sony has to deal with 10.4 MILLION 360s and the fact that 360 will be utilized as a set-top-box for IPTV providers like AT&T among others.

And don't forget what you do lose with HDMI: optical sound. Some may not care but I do. GoW blows whole's thru the roof on my digital 7.1 system but it pretty lacking with analog sound.

The way those connectors are on there doesn't look like good craftsmanship at all. The bigger hdd will probably come but I have HIGH doubts MS will make drastic changes to hardware to incorporate HDMI.

360 is Next-gen and as of NOW there is NO one set way to watch HD content. Soo again...HD-DVD & Blu Ray IS NOT Necessary. But you aren't bright enough to figure that out knumbnuts.

I bought a 19" LCD monitor (to go with my 2nd 360) and I paid $150 and change AND I got a $50 rebate on it. 1080p thru VGA is GREAT at basically $100! My other 360 resides on my 50" Samsung DLP (720p).
Games like Socom or MGS4...how are they gonna experiance the recoil effects of weapons or the impact of bullets without force feedback??

-Had to buy a HD-DVD addon (which bought the 360 to about 600 once all is said & done)
-No built-in Wi-Fi, (there another additional cost for your)
-Not enough USB ports, especially on the back
Limited keyboard/mouse support at launch,
-Just 20gb hard drive,
-No built-in card reader,
-Accessories cost a lot...
