Sony maybe PURPOSEFULLY delaying shipments of PS3 in order to look good...or at least ok, from a financial perspective for the last quarter of this year.
Why? Because they lose money for every console sold. In other words, they are not trying to go in the red by selling 6,4 or 2 million PS3s.
You see 360 vs PS3 like EVERYDAY but yet where's the actual service-for-service comparison of Xbox Live to Sony's glorified, underdeveloped, underachieved, Playstation Network?
Sony and it's subservient Fanboys have been raving for almost a year about how Sony will bring you everything XBL has-but do it for FREE. PS3 is out and the online service is up, yet I hear scant details of it. I wonder why...???

most 'PC' functionality on the PC platform is implemented into games on the 360 side.
MS gives you the OPTION of viewing movies via HD-DVD or d/l. Neither is required for gaming.
Viewing family pics on the living room HDTV is cool,IMO. Most people store their media files on PC and already have an existing library of media files.
And I, like most people don't want the tedious job of d/l my media onto a format to transfer over to my game console....

This is just coming to light with most people but I had a nightmare of a time dealing with Dell's support which is also outsourced in India. This is by no means an isolated case and not directly MS's fault. Do a search on Dell's support and you'll find many horror stories coming from them ever since they move their support overseas.
