By the time it does, we will be playing Starfield.
If the higher ups tell them to promote the game, they kind of have too. It came out in reports that the majority of the dev team tried to delay the game again, but the publishing side of CDPR denied it and pushed it out anyway.
So yeah, the twitter pics still seem like a PR move instructed by management more than the devs trying to be deceptive. This wpuld not be the first time people were made to promote a product on their personal accounts.
Played on quality mode on Series X, and had no issues. It was overhyped for sure and the bar was way to high with what was promised, but the game is still solid.
Between the overhyping and the horribly handled launch (even though my gen 9 machine was fine, it was still a gen 8 game so to not be able to run properly on gen 8 consoles is unacceptable), the game itself gets way more hate that it deserves. The management of CDPR dropped the ball, but the gake itself is good a...
Meanwhile, on gamepass...
"isn't that the point of gamepass and paying or Xbox live? Isn't it all "free games" that you just pay a sub for and that's it? Or is it now paying for online paying for the sub, and paying for content and cosmetics? $70 for a full game sounds a whole lot better now."
The Halo multiplayer is F2P...as in no gamepass needed...nor Gold needed.
Do your research before taking jabs at services that have nothing to do with the gam...
It is more about how XBox gaming as a whole is no longer about just console sales, like PS and Nintendo primarily are. Did you even read the article?
There is the traditional console yes, but you also have XCloud, gamepass, and all 1st party games on PC day 1. They push the entire brand as a whole, not just XBox consoles. That is what the title is pointing to, not what kind of functionality a Series X/S has outside of being a console.
I might get both. Want to make sure the Steam Deck is not just a portable repeat of the Steam Box first, and see how it does. Not like I can get one at launch anyway right now.
Stop defending what? Nintendo gave us no less than they said they would. If it is not for you, don't buy it. But to act like something is being defended when people use their heads and don't take the rumor mill for gospel is a special kind of ignorance.
Pretty sure XCloud is the portablity route they chose. And everything is seamlessly cross save too, so it is really unnecessary for a proprietary handheld/hybrid.
It kind of opens the flood gates for other crossovers.
I am F2P and have almost every 4 star and every 5 star I wanted (save for 1).
Too many people jump to conclusions, it is truly F2P without a bait and Switch to P2W. People who whale either lack self control or just want to support the devs.
Now it is a game nobody know.
Yeah blaming Sony for Shenmue because it was displayed at a Sony showcase is like blaming MS for Cyberpunk, because of a marketing deal. Makes zero sense.
I have all three, and no issues with connectivity on any. MHR being the most recent Switch example was flawless.
Mario Maker 2 and Smash was rough though. No other Switch game gave me problems.
Very hyped for this expansion. The trailer looks great!
Already did it. Simple, but free stuff is always good. They really knocked it out of the park with this game. Floored how it isn't pay to win.
Really excited for the new story expansion and region coming up. Glad to see this game going strong, one of the few ACTUAL f2p games out there without any pay to win crap.
Sonic is also an animal, and life insurance for a pet is not the same as a human.
@TheTony316
While it certainly is not the only reason, it did play into why I went with the Series X before the PS5 despite always being PS focused in the past. Gamepass with BC together os a killer combo for the value and I am able to experience a lot of what I missed last gen for cheap, often with upgrades.
The major Sony exclusives I care about (God of War amd Horizon) will be playable on my PS4 Pro, so I can easily wait for a PS5. Had I been able to...
You mad?
