The selection is far inferior as well. I have had both, and PSNow doesn't even come close. They are structured similar, but Sony doesn't invest in the amount of quality content MS does when it comes to more modern games on it. Gamepass also doesn't require streaming for any of its games, but PSNow does for PS3 games.

What fluff number? Halo Campaign and Forza 5 are not F2P, and gamepass is a huge part of the market strategy. Doesn't matter how they pay for it, that many people are enjoying the game. What I always dislike is when Sony fans get all upset over any other company doing well, and respond by mindless downplay.

Emulators are not illegal, but downloading the pirated software is. Are you honestly suggesting that you take the time to buy that games legally, then rip them onto your PC yourself without any downloading of ROMs/iso/etc?

What I find funny is that the PS5 has more to offer in its first year than the PS4 did...hell way more if you look at the first two years if God of War and Horizon don't get delayed again. This review is unrealistic.
The games coming in 2022 are cross gen, and he can play them on a PS4 if he had to.
Having said that, I have both the Series X and the PS5 and I would NEVER sell. For one, I will not resort to scumbag scalping. And for two, even if there is not something out now that is a must play...they are coming on both consoles. I would rather future proof my setup than rush around trying to get a new console (which may or may not be easy to get) when Starfield of Final Fantasy XVI ...

False, Radical Dreamers exists in its own timeline outside of the main Trigger timeline and the two from Cross. In Chronopolis there is a nod to RD's existence (as it was the prototype Cross was based on), but is not directly connected to the other two games.

When did I say any game was specifically coming to XBox? I said they were confirmed to be timed exclusive games by the devs. How odd you would jump to that conclusion.
Ghostwire Tokyo is definitely, not maybe, coming to XBox as MS owns Bethesda and Tango now. As soon as that timed contract is up, it will be ready to go day 1 on gamepass.

Strange thing to say when every developer has to start somewhere. Bottom line is Remedy had a history of making good games with interesting plots and fun gameplay. That should be all you need to be able to put your faith in a developer, until proven otherwise.

While games like Starfield, ES6, Hellblade 2, Fable 4, Pefect Dark, Forza, Outer Worlds 2, etc on XBox and God of War, Horizon, Gran Turismo, and Demon Souls on PS5 are true console exclusives.
Seems like both have a healthy mix of the two this gen, so not sure why there is a need to bring it up when the article isn't even about that.

Final Fantasy started on Nintendo games and eventually also was on XBox.
Sony is moneyhating FFVIIR and FFXVI as exclusive. The hypocrisy over XBox exclusives is wild.
This is business, get over it. MS owns the dev and is funding the game. Hellblade 2 has no more entitlement to be on PS than God of War does on XBox. It does not matter that Hellblade one was on PS before the MS acquisition, Hellblade 2 is a MS project.
