I dunno...a generic open world Star Wars does not interest me at all...
And while EA fell short most of the time, and I have little respect for their practices...Respawn DID knock it out of the park with Fallen Order, which was under EA's banner. I will take more of that than what Ubi will likely bring anyday.
But we did not expect that from EA either, so who knows maybe thet can suprise us.
Ocarina of Time is a mid tier Zelda game that only ranks as high as it does due to nostalgia. Both MM and TP are better...and ALttP is on another level.
There...I said it...FIGHT ME!
@knushwoodbutt
Don't confuse me for those bots that spin that nonsense. I roll my eyes everytime someone says something like that lol. They are no better than the hypocritical Sony fans that act like Sony can do no wrong.
@Tesdah
Yeah I remember MS having a problem woth it with FFXIV. But what I find funny is that you have no problem bashing them for it, but when Sony was kicking and crying about how it was not possible with Fortnite, CoD, or Battlefield, it was MS that forced their hand by making them look bad. The developers themselves even said Sony was the one saying no, and MS was all for it.
Again, companies make mistakes. It is hilarious that some of you only lik...
Put mine on a SSD, and it was fine.
But I am not defending them, it was advertised as a gen 8 game. No excuse for how it performed on gen 8 consoles.
@IretroUK
My bad on the pricing, I for some reason remembered $699 instead of $599. But the point still stands that releasing a console for $200 more than their competitor when the online was still crap at that time and multiplats ran worse than on 360 was a bad idea, and Sony should not have needed uproar from fans to see that.
Again, all of these corporations do stupid things. It is when they listen to the fans that count, just like when Sony faught c...
@IRetroUK
I am not talking about PC, I am talking about on console. MS and Nintendo got the ball rolling, and Sony tried to fight it (confirmed by devs). If you are honestly trying to ignore that, then you are just as bad as the fools that defended MS before this BS decision was reversed.
Also my Series X was 500 USD. The PS3 launched at 700 USD. Don't try to dance around facts, or at least brush up on your history.
@oof46
@LOGICWINS
Why did MS have to let Sony know crossplay was pro consumer?
Why did we have to let Sony know consumers don't want to pay 700 bucks for a console with the PS3?
Bottom line is corporations are greedy and make stupid decisions. The important part is that when outrage or feedback is present, they listen. All three of them fk up because at the end of the day they are out for themselves and need to be set straight, so drop y...
What a suprise, MS listens to feedback and QUICKLY reverses the decision and changed a policy that needed changed...and N4G somehow sees it as negative.
I am just glad people were loud enough to be heard. Good on MS for listening to fan feedback.
What a stupid thing to say. It will get proper respect on any platform. If a MS developer (Bwthesda) makes the game and it ends up exclusive to XBox, how is that any different from Sony paying for the new Spiderman to be exclusive (has always been multiplat before then).
I get it, you want everything on your platform. But please try not to be hypocritical.
Controller support will be awesome!
@porkChop
Because he is damage controlling.
@RazzerRedux
The only con is a minor spot where it has a few dropped frames. It is mostly locked at 60 fps. The pros are higher resolution (native 4k vs 1800p) and higher graphical settings for the shadows. I would say it is a pretty clear cut victory for Series X.
These same people who think The Medium will be on PS5 before 2022 are likely the same fools that think Final Fantasy 16 won't go to XBox when the exclusive deal is up. It is fascinating how one way people can be when it comes to basic logic.
@DEEHULK88
There is none, he is just trying to downplay.
Not really, as their goal is to drive people to either their gamepass subscription, buy the game for XBox, or buy it on their windows platform. There are many ways to utilize their service, and keeping them exclusive will steer people to those services which will lead to long term benefits rather than short term.
These games staying multiplat seems like wishful thinking on some people's part.
I know right? This is why both Bethesda and MS are not talking about exclusives yet. All of their new announcements have yet to have platforms revealed because while it is likely MS will soon 100% own Bethesda, they don't have it finalized yet. Bethesda will not announce a multiplat because MS can make it exclusive when the deal closes. Likewise MS will not announce an exclusive in case it doesn't go through for whatever reason.
It is not that hard to understand...
This is true, bit the event was just one part of it. The new region to explore, as well as the puzzles, quest line, and treasures remain permanently.
As it is now, look at it as a decent content expansion while we wait for the next Archon quest to progress the main plot.
And OoT is basically ALttP rehash. TP did what OoT did, but better IMO.
