It is dated, but it doesn't look all that bad. Its 60fps game after all...
Whoa...this has to be very old build. There is alot of aliasing and you can notice that map isn't closely to being finished. The backgrounds are WIP.
This one looked the best IMO but they didnt put it

Frankie said its straight out of gameplay at NeoGaf.
Yap, this is a whole another ball game in comparison with what Bugnie did with 360.
No. All I'm saying is that consoles are not DX9, but have custom API. Deferred rendering for example is not possible with MSAA in DX9, but games like KZ and RDR have MSAA and are deferred rendering games. You can work around limitations on consoles because you can code to metal.
Consoles use custom API so you can code to metal and work around limitations.
Hope they go for tile based deferred rendering. It was added in CE3 that way consoles could be able to render it at 1280x720 or 704 with black lines like BF3.
Maybe because the point of this news are graphics and not gameplay? Besides, Crytek always goes for free and non restricting gameplay. If Crysis games aren't games that push FPS gameplay than I don't know what is. Maybe MOH, COD or KZ...
I hate the fact that people will start moaning and bitching about Crytek being showoffs and hyping their product, but honestly the guy in interview came as rather humble guy. Its nice to hear what they are aiming for this late in generation, and just the fact that they are using every AA there is for PC version and SMAA T2x AA method on consoles attests to the fact that they are really ambitious about the project.
Actually, temporal solution in T2x is temporal supersampling, algorithm is SMAA. Go to Jorge Jimenez site, and find the demo of T2x. It looks better than MLAA and is even better in moving picture.
For people wondering MSAA is standard hardware AA that was absent in Crysis 2, but now with DX11 patch its possible with deferred rendering. SMAA is AA developed by Crytek engineers and Jorge Jimenez. T2x is SMAA variant for consoles, no more temporal AA. And TXAA is newly developed AA by Nvidia which as far as I know runs only on new Kepler cards, very advanced with great results comparable to 8 and 16xMSAA.

CE3 is only engine that develops games simultaneously. Place and drag on PC, it copies in real time on 360 and PS3. There are alot of videos of presentations from Crytek about it.
Crysis 2 has such a good quality shaders and HDR lighting that its magnificent. Also, amazing post processing effects. Unfortunately, frame rate couldn't hold on, hopefully next one will.

In magazine they said they have never seen vegetation that looks as good as C3s.
Its just a couple days after announcement dude...I mean, you have companies like R* who announce project and don't give info for couple years. Crytek released couple screens and info, and after 2-3 days you get footage because of their deal with Spike TV.
Crysis 3 development started in beginning of 2010 according to mod on Incrysis (he had chat with one of the ex Crytek devs, he took picture too).
We had alread 3 Gears games, 3 Uncharteds and 3 ME's and yet people bitch about Crysis 3.
