Sony did not set the bar,their devs did.Now for that matter,UC2 and KZ2 looks great,new games are coming:GOW III,HR,Last Guardian but there is so many great graphically games coming out on 360 that its a shame not to mention them.New screens of SC C shows that it can go toe to toe with best ps3 games this year,and Alan Wake,well it looks incredible.Surely it will give UC2 run for its money.
The thing that bothers me the most is how quickly you guys are gonna dismiss those games...
I dont understand what is all the fuss with MS lowering the price,they made great console,with amazing games,great hardware(performance/price,tim e ratio) with RROD problem,but they can lower it even more because of it.I think sony made a mistake this gen that they wont repeat again.
Sure blu ray costs fortune to be put in console,and Cell B.E is kind of expensive,but if they went with bit better gfx card,three core cpu and you could add 1 GB of RAM because of savings with cell...
While i love GTA,especially Vice City,you got to hand it to the Mafia.In my opinion Mafia was the best sandbox game ever,and sequel looks to be just better in every aspect,cant freakin wait!

You are very wrong with Crysis 2 mate.Cryengine 3 is heavily optimized CE2,but it has very simple interface.You make level on pc and at the same time it draws itself on console versions.PC version is confirmed to have a little more bells and whistles then console version,but they sure are pushing hardware,on ALL platforms,confirmed :)
No,spus are not processors,ppus are not processor.Both xbox 360 and ps3 has only one processor,while xbox has 3 cores,with 2 treads each.Ps3 has one core and 6 spus,neither are cores processor neither are spus.
Now for that thing that ps3 doesnt need gpu,well you are very wrong my fried.Cell 6 spus running ideal are not even strong as rsx,they equal 20 pipelines but they cant directly "draw" it to screen from spus,its vertex and pixel shader processes has to go throug...

Cell processor is cpu with one ppu and 6(8 actually but 1 disabled and one used for running OS)which handle physics,a.i ...but also vertex calculations and some rendering,because rsx gpu is pretty weak when it comes to that,especially vertex,cus it only has 8 vertex pipelines.

Yes they are very close,but i just dont like really HR looks.I like atmospheric,foggy look of AW.But both look absolutely great.UC2 has some competition on top.
Why the f would MS need BR?I,like most of 360 owners have hdd,i can install it on it and play it better then reading from dvd or BR.
I played GTA IV from dvd and man does it suck.Sometimes there are noticeable textures missing and its showing texture placeholders,that is just...wrong :)
