Frankie from 343i actually said its almost new engine,but based on halo 3 engine,not reach.it makes sense since development started at 2007 so it cant be reach engine.

What could happen (according to rumors) is for Sony to release new console in holiday season 2012! Great article. R* games put AAA games like on track and they don't milk franchises or gamers either. Also, they have best DLC this gen. I mean, Episodes from LC and RDR Undead Nightmare could easily pass as full fledged games rather than DLC.

Apple has the worst fanboys by far. BTW, Samsung Galaxy S2 has twice as much RAM as HD twins and I have yet to see a game looking remotely close to first wave console games this gen. Not to mention the games you said in your post... RAM =/= power.
According to GI exclusive preview its possible. Lately, 3rd party developers have been delivering some great looking games. Consoles are old and what 1st party "cracked" 2 years ago, 3rd party does now.
They also said this footage is old one that doesn't feature AA, but that it will be in retail version. 343i is packed with talent and I expected nothing less than this from those guys.
If they put as much money from Cell to GPU design they would get all those games and they would look even better. Most important thing, ports and 3rd party games would be piece of cake to do on that console, and they would be better too.
Cell is very good at parallel computing (like GPU) but its much worse at that than good GPU. Its nice CPU that gives alot of performance per watt, but new cpu designs are much more efficient and dev friendly, and with beefy GPU they will be able to get good ports and 3rd party games like 360 this gen. There is no need for CPU design thats almost decade old. It was good for its time, when they didn't have good enough GPU, but now, 20% faster GPU will result in better graphics than couple o...
Because FB2 is EA's engine? It was made by lot of guys from EA, not just DICE.
CVG said its 360 version played. People at GAF already said there is lower res shadows that wasn't there at E3 footage PC footage. There are also slowdowns and pop ins noticable. I think IGN is wrong.

Yea, game looks extremely nice and smooth and is exactly the same on both consoles. Plus it runs 60fps.
