the current consoles do a max of 720p in 99% of retail releases and the average at best would be 680p as there are so many sub hd games on ps3/360. I'd say the average pixel push of ps3/360 is 720,000.
So in resolution alone the wii U will deliver more than DOUBLE the graphics of ps3/360 in the same games/

Trying to cram even more stuff into a game that is nearly turning into a yearly release IS a problem.
Bioware used to, USED TO, be a studio that finely crafted a true rpg game, and the spent 3-4-5 years doing so.
Pumping out multiple titles every 9 months is 100% affecting the quality!

War for Cybertron was freaking awesome, my brother and I had a blast playing it, picked it up for like $20 a few months after release, if this ones reviews as well as War for Cybertron , I'll be grabbing it sooner!
demons souls and dark souls are the spiritual succesors to the king's field series on ps1 and ps2, these games we almost exactly like the 'souls series' and were also quite hard, though they were in first person.
The game is not really hard unfairly, you just need to learn how to play it. Once you figure out how to earn the right gear and levels for the places you want to go, you can do it. As long as you don't run in like a call of duty moron and try to kill ...
just get a decent pc and play all these games for free if you own the originals!

This game is highly atmospheric, and excellently crafted, though a bit rough around the edges in spots. The gunplay can be a bit clunky, but this is more of an adventure game than a standard fps. The story, and more importantly, the sense of foreboding are what stand out in this game, and of course, the graphics....
.....the graphics, as many have said, are the some of the best you can expect to see if you have a fairly decent rig, even in dx10 this games destroys everything ...
I rent 95% of console games, they usually are not worth the $65 usd price tag!
....but uncharted 3, just like dark souls has been paid off already for months!
certain games you just NEED for your collection, and the first 2 uncharteds were sheer epicness, I have no doubt this one will follow suit!
BTW, side note, dark souls is every bit as good as demons souls, possibly a bit harder but lacking a bit of the first ones atmosphere, solid 96/100...
comparing any console game to the pc version of the same game is just gonna set you up for heartbreak.

Crysis 1 sold over 3.5 million on pc, it will not sell that many on two consoles. What does that tell you?
Consoles are a smaller audience than pc by far!
There are maybe 25 million working xbox360's in homes and about the same for ps3, 50 million consoles is Nothing!
There are over 35 million users just on steam! One digital download platform out of 100's!

new xbox for sure in 2012, hopefully new sony console too but I doubt it, though sony could suprise us all.
I moved onto pc a long time ago, still come back for the exclusives like the near perfect 96/10 dark souls (my score for it at least), but once you go to pure native 1080p with 8x anti aliasing on everything, consoles do not seem so cool anymore and the jaggies and screen tear kill your eyes.

It looked so amazing when I first saw gears of war on xbox360, no, it just kind of annoys me. I will still get ME3 for sure, but I am really looking forward to ME4 on next gen!!

when the witcher 2 comes out on consoels it will be sub-hd, covered in jaggies, riddled with pop-in, run at a 20-30 framerate at best, lack high resolution textures, not have soft shadows and honestly, it will look nothing like what it looks like on a decent mid range pc, let alone a high end pc that can max it out.
Ohhh and I'll name a few complete and utter failures on ps3/360 that should neve have been ported to consoles from pc
