god of war 3, killzone 3, uncharted 3 look blocky and low resolution and have jaggies and pop-in, pc games look high resolution, have no jaggies and zero pop-in!

yeah....a crappy low res game like alan wake at 940x540p is closer to 480p ED tv then being anywhere near 1920x1080p like 90% of HD tv's are, the tv has to fill in all those missing gaps, if you only own consoles, buy a 720p tv, there is ZERO reason for you to have a 1080p tv, your games will look way more washed out and crappy on a 1080 tv then a 720.
you are partly right, many people buy pc games digitally or order a physical copy off places like amazon or tiger direct, newegg ect.
PC gamers are generally more tech savy and do not need to run to gamestop to get a game, when you have a 25 meg connection you can download a 10 gb game in no time, it's cheaper than driving.

The framerate is resistance 3 is terrible, same with dead island, the screen tearing in many games is awful, the jaggies are everywhere....

the bad thing is this game is going to be so very low res on console, I'd imagine 1024x600 like call of duty, or worse they may have to pull an alan wake and make it 960x544 for real.
The game is amazing though but honestly, they should just wait till the new xbox launches in 2012, hopefully that would be able to handle the withcer 2 in 1080p with 4x anti aliasing!
