also, most gamers that are hardcore enough to go out an build their own gaming machine, also own every console, or one or two of them, all my pc gamer friends have either a ps3 or 360, most of them have both and a wii
i have all 3, and still got a ds and my ps2 is hooked up to an old tube tv in the workout room for whnen i get nostalgic, usually i emulate those game though as they look so much b...

and why you numbered them at all and then included whole developers catalogs that include well over ten games in themselves is kind of dumb, but i get the point of the article as i am used to interpreting the thoughts of dullards:)

will NOT happen, MS will have a new console out in 14 months, they are almost done supporting the 360 in anyway besides 3rd party, remakes and live, they are hard at work at getting a great launch lineup for the new console.

the game looked GREAT already on pc, on consoles...not so much!
about 3 hours into single player and 4 hours into multiplayer and liking both quite a bit, I will say the graphics are underwhelming and it looks very sub-hd, I hear the resolution is 960x704, and it looks that way, other than that i am having a blast with it and there are a TON of multiplayer game modes, personally I 'd give it a 8.5/10 so far!
it ran pretty lousy on the ps3 version i rented, kept hitching and framerate dropping into the low twenties/teens when lots of baddies were on screen, the screen kept tearing and the pop-in was kind of annoying.
I took the rental back a grabbed resistance 3, a much better, more polished games, at least the framerate stays above 25, and there has yet to be a torn frame i have seen...kool multiplayer, still a bit low res looking, but much more polished, R3 has that grainy killz...
new xbox in 2012, holiday most likely, novemberish, so i kinda doubt it, maybe in the new console!
pc version of dead island will be $20 in two weeks somewhere, I'll snag it then, the framerate was sketchy at best on ps3 when ever 1 or more zombies came on screen, so i took it back to blockbuster and got resistance 3, way better looking and running game! MP is sweetness!
Will wait for dead island to drop in price a bit on pc as it seemed cool, just couldn't stand the framerate and screen tearing, seemed like a sloppy port to consoles, heard the pc version looks way...
this honestly does not even show how amazing this game looks maxxed out!
I'm playing resistance 3 right now and loving it, esp. the multi....but this game makes it looks so last gen, it is so crisp, so detailed, all beautiful hd textures, not a jaggie or muddy texture to be seen....
Hard reset can stand toe to toe with crysis 2 on pc dx11!!
demo is up on steam, only about 1gb download, runs great, loooks amazing, i mean, literally amazing....i am playing resistance 3 right now as well, and this game truely makes resistance 3, uncharted 2, halo reach, killzone 3, alan wake and god of war 3, all games i love deeply, all the very best the consoles have to offer, all beautiful games, yet they looks last gen compared to this....seriously, this game looks on par with pc crysis 2, metro2033 and the witcher 2/:)
no matter how big they make it, it won't be able to hold all the amazing pc mods that will be coming ")

no, they would never, EVER announce a new console right before the holiday season of their existing console, think about it dude, how many people would buy a xbox360 knowing that is 12 months, a new much better xbox console would be out....NONE!!

I've never commented here but have been coming a long time, heck I never even made an account until today, but I gotta let the truth out, I own and like this game about a 7.8/10 for me, I am sure the general experience on all platforms will be almsot the same, but if we are talking visuals, why these LAME sites like lens of truth leave out PC version......???
pc version by far, completely beats both console versions by a LANDSLIDE!
