Actually, no, Drake's Fortune was pre-rendered in-engine. In-engine does not mean in-game. Very few games have in-game cutscenes. Not that there's anything wrong with in-engine, but there are more resources available.

From what I can tell (comparing the first image to the one labeled E309), the hair on the 08 build looks better to me. Much softer and "hair-like". But that's the only thing I can determine from this (if I have even determined it at all). Mainly because I have no idea which pictures belong to which build.

Perhaps you could explain? The only throwbacks I can think of are Crying Wolf/Sniper Wolf, Screaming Mantis/Psycho Mantis and Liquid Ocelot. Laughing Octopus, Raging Raven, and Vamp were unique.
And even then, the Screaming Mantis/Psycho Mantis battles are nothing like each other, besides the use of Meryl.

Forward thinking really isn't a strong suit for the internet, is it? Okay, let's think next gen. The average internet connection will be faster. A current game on 360 is around 8 Gb max. And besides better audio, there really isn't much of a difference between those games and PS3 games in either length or texture quality. This is most likely due to Blu-ray's slow reading speed. In the future, 8 Gb's won't take long to download right? So digital distribution is the way to go, right? No.

Well first of all, those aren't system sellers. The only true system sellers the PS3 has in its future are GT5 and Final Fantasy XIII (and Versus, maybe).
But you're crazy if you don't think MGS4 moved consoles. And MGS4 has sold pretty darn well, but you bragging that a multiplatform incarnation of the MGS series is going to sell more than a console exclusive MGS game is kinda sad. Of course it is, it's multiplatform.
