It works the exact same way, I played the entire disc game on PS3. The only tricky thing was changing controller ports, which you do through the PS button.
Elena is in the game. Watch the latest Uncharted 2 trailer.
Finally! I've been waiting for MGS4 and Ratchet and Clank to drop in price. I rented MGS4 when it came out, but I want to own the whole collection. And I would have felt cheated buying Ratchet at nearly full price when it had been out so long already.
Now when my PS3 gets back from repair(again), I'll have more games to add to my collection.
^Gran Turismo 3 came out 8 years ago. I think you mean Gran Turismo 5. Vision Gran Turismo was shown at E3 2006 (3 years ago), but that became Gran Tusismo HD and was released as a demo. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has also been released since then. GT5 had a release date of April 2008 before it was delayed.
So basically that entire statement was false - no matter how you look at it. If you're going to retort an argument, do your research first. All the above could have easily been f...
Wow those screenshots are very impressive, the Forza guys clearly put in a lot of hard work to improve their visuals and it shows. I wish they hadn't come out and said that they not only have the definitive racing game this generation (which, while arrogant, is at least backed by reviews) but they also said they had the best looking game this generation (which I believe is false, at least when it comes to car models, environments is a whole other story).
The one thing I notice in...
Actually I prefer the PC version (that's free btw), so I shall declare that the definitive version.
It even has user created levels.
In the bathroom, SC: Conviction looks freaking amazing. It really does. But once that sequence is over, the game just doesn't look as good. The texture detail in the mansion just isn't up to par with Uncharted 2.
Obviously you disagree and that's okay, I would agree with you if the entire game looked like that bathroom. But it doesn't, it looks remarkably inconsistent to me. Uncharted 2 has texture detail everywhere, it constantly blows me away.
That said, I'm really...
"although they were good they are mediocre at best."
Your friend sounds like a real clear thinker...
"The battery life is equivalent with the current models meaning approximately 3 to 6 hours for gameplay and approximately 3 to 5 hours for playing back videos."
Ouch. Bad move if you ask me, I was expecting a much longer battery life. Maybe it would be smarter to wait for the PSP GO 2000?
Hahahah
You do realize that it took 4 months for it to cross the 1 million mark right? Halo: CE isn't even in the top 20 fastest selling games. MGS4 sold faster, believe it or not.
Gears of War is your best argument, stick with that one.
Okay, I looked and looked and looked. NPDFunWorld released a lot of fun facts about Halo Combat Evolved, but no hard numbers as far as I could find.
However, I did find that the Xbox sold 550,000 in it's first week. And considering that not all of them bought Halo, the numbers between Halo and InFamous' first week sales may be closer than you actually think.
InFamous will not end up doing Halo lifetime numbers, but that doesn't mean that it didn't sell well - given t...

*Ahem*
What were you saying about Halo?
Edit: Upon further inspection, there appears to be something wrong with the Halo numbers. I'm going to try and track down the official NPD numbers instead.
Didn't that ambiguous bird message say something like 600 cars? Don't get your hopes up for 800, but 600 is still a lot.
Is it close? Yes. Unbelievably close, in fact. Is it better? No.
The CGI is cleaner and has a much higher polygon count. It also has better lighting. The God of War III character model is unbelievable for real-time, but it doesn't surpass God of War II's CGI.
As far as character models between Uncharted 2 and God of War III? I'm inclined to give the edge to Drake, but I'm not sure that's fair. Kratos requires much more detail than Drake. He has scars and muscle, whil...
Apple is really pushing the boundaries now that they're surpassing 4 year old tech.
Oh wait.
^Especially when you consider that the iPhone has a touch screen, built in camera, accelerometers, and a 3G phone service. The PSP Go is overpriced, and this is coming from someone who really, really wants one.
Along with what the others above me said, you do know there's like a story, right? Not to mention playing like God of War 1 and 2 isn't a bad thing. They both were a blast. If this game was released on PS2 and played exactly like God of War 2, people would still love it.
The fact that it looks gorgeous and has improved on its predecessors is icing on the delicious cake that is this franchise.
If it's not your thing, that's cool, but if that's the truth, why troll it?...
-----SPOILER WARNING -------------------
At the end of MGS4, you can clearly see the bolts in his skin, he's still a cyborg, but with these limbs he looks less... scary. My guess is that he tries to be as human as possible when he's not ninja-ing it up.
Also, I'm guessing Rising comes after MGS4, based on his upgrades, eye color, missing eye, etc. Perhaps his son gets kidnapped?
We'll see.

What are the buttons on top? (Besides the obvious L and R). You can almost make them out in this video.
Retailers are going to offer vouchers, so in theory you can still shop around for deals. The retailer can theoretically sell the vouchers at a discount just like UMD games. The smaller screen is not a big deal to me at all. The price is really the only deterrent for me.
On topic: Can you access the PSN Store and buy/download games (and possibly even tell them to install) before you get home? Cause that would be awesome.
