@ rainslacker. that's my thinking. All too often we see dates via the web that are nothing more than a placeholder date set by retailers or a projected release date set by the publisher or developer that is hardly a firm date. Projected means best case scenario they could possibly ship for that date. As well all know, game development is anything but smooth
I think saying you refused to use a gun says a lot. You're neglecting an integral part of the games mechanics. And I fail to see how using the mechanics of the game is making things "mainstream." Like all Souls games Bloodborne is a game you have to master the combat system and tools given to you for maximum value. I'm not going to create a Sorcerer and use only a torch and rapier.
Lastly I don't think you're the only one who enjoyed DS2 as we all, ...
let me remind everyone nothing is obvious. Only 2k actually knows the numbers of active users still playing 2k14. It is an old games with 2k15 and this years 2k16 both [obviously] being out. So this is actually 3 years old in sporting years. Also it seems to me that like NHL & maybe even Golf that NBA is somewhat of a niche market in gaming and it's easy to consider that few if any are still online w/ 2k14. Either way we simply don't know. I personally don't like the idea of o...
Honestly I think shelf space sometimes depends largely on the consumer base in that region or store. I've been in some stores, generally speaking, that carry more PS than XB space or vice versa while another location is just the opposite. locally our Walmart has XB packed to the ceiling while hardly carrying anything related to PS. I'd imagine they do more sales and have more customers buying XB games while the PS gamers in town buy online or digital
I buy 99.9% of m...
Absolutely. The open-world stealth and everything about MGSV was fantastic. I was so hooked I milked that game like no other because I didn't want to put it down. If Kojima ever does another game this style I hope he brings everything in MGSV to that new title.
As for the story, it could have used more but I thought it was pretty decent and got a few kicks out of eventually. Especially but not limited to Mission 46 [Truth] Man who sold the World. Though that's the th...
actually Foxtrot, it was built to be released with all the content from Year 1 and 2 combined with DLC & an expansion to come on top of it. Instead a year from release they scrapped the entire thing and ended up releasing Vanilla Destiny while chopping the game up to sell the rest as DLCs and an Expansion. Had they released all that plus DLCs? Needless to say that would have been awesome & quite possibly kept a lot of us happy and playing for much longer. Instead we were constantly le...
Takwin, that sums it up. Magical. Ni No Kuni was just that and truly a special title. I'm so excited they are making another.
While I've been waiting for Final Fantasy XV since it was Versus XIII there's no doubt that I'm anticipating Ni No Kuni 2 more. I'm sure XV will deliver and be a solid game while not only do I know Ni No Kuni 2 will be but it just has that magic which makes for a classical RPG.
there's a good chance the person who traded it in wasn't aware. Perhaps traded in their old DS with a bunch of games. Or they pulled one over on Gamestop. could have easily been someone who was duped and wasn't aware themselves though.
About 6 months ago I bought a PS3 controller online. Packaging legit, looked and felt legit. After a charge I noticed the battery was bunk so popped the case open to replace it with one of my old ones. Sure enough, wasn't just t...
I won't disagree but I don't think they should announce a game at E3 and have it ready later that year. That being said they do need to announce games when they have a firmer or more realistic date for said games. Understandably chite happens and a few months is best for the game but far too often games are announced with nothing more than concept and a teaser trailer at best. Then here we are waiting 2, 3, 4+ years and sometimes for a game that ends up getting canned or slips into ob...
Next weeks sale for US? *fingers crossed*
ah yes, I learned my lesson in the PS2 era. Not to say I don't have any games I haven't gotten around to but I'm much better at playing what I have instead of loading the shelves with games that never get opened or played.
Some games are just day one no question. Others are out of boredom but still solid games I'd buy anyway. While sometimes I now hold off buying a new release if I'm busy w/ a game or have a couple more lined up I want to play next. All t...
we're use to waiting. Final Fantasy Versus XIII which is now coming as XV, Last Guardian, and many others in the past and possibly present I've forgotten came with a 5-10 year wait. It happens.
Right when this broke I said what engine, PS5 launch? There's a lot of variables here but the fact of the matter is that it really doesn't matter. All things considered my moneys on a lengthy wait. Likely needs to set up shop, start building an engine or get his hands ...
Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen is really the only tough trophy in Bloodborne, imho. Everything else is rather easy. 1/2 HP dungeon was absolutely brutal while some others were tough as well. Though I've been told by a couple friends it's actually quite easy if you have a friend who [is good and] can run them with you. But no doubt, anyone who can tackle it has a solid platinum
the Order was definitely easy. Probably easiest and least time consuming I've achieved...
I have to ask, what none gamer wrote this article? Destiny: The Taken King Expansion is listed #4 of 16 and there's definitely no Platinum on the Expansion. Pretty big oopsie. Didn't bother looking at the rest.
the only opinion that matters is your own and the sooner people understand that and quit listening to all the bull is when people can truly be themselves and not only enjoy what they like but enjoy things on their own merit and not based off others opinions.
No doubt The Order could have been better but it was a solid game I had a great time playing. I would happily buy and enjoy a sequel.
I get what you mean but between VIII and IX it's a split group where VII gets nothing but love. My problem with VII is that all this time they refused to remake it because they wanted to do it justice. How is what they are doing justice? Hopefully I'm wrong however if it is episodic I'm likely extremely reluctant to bite and I'll just go back play VII on PS, PS3 or PSVita.
On that note I'd definitely love to see IX again. Another that came to mind tonight...
If people want to dust off their PS2 or can play them on PS3 great. I can but I'm sure there's going to be some titles to pop up I'll be interested in during some down time between releases. Rogue Galaxy, if I have time will definitely be one. Thing is this isn't only appealing to people who have played them but perhaps those who never had a chance to. It's a great way to put out older games w/o the financial risk of remastering and printing them.
I'm with ya and can't believe some of the idiotic reasoning here. I'd love to see them all @ $10 but $10-15 is definitely fair. Though if I already own the game I might be more likely to toss it into my PS3 than repurchase it. I will say the lineup, imo, is a bit suspect but I'm sure people are still downloading and playing them.
You want to play them old games go ahead and dust off your PS2 and buy the game used for $5-10. Oh wait, you'd have to go re pu...
the problem is Destiny was a great game despite it's flaws and bs. there's a lot of us who really enjoyed the game and mechanics were spot on. lack of content, continuous grind, repetitiveness, and so on. Bungie really did hose us but those of us who did enjoy it played the crap out of it. That being said, of about 20 or so hardcore players I predominately played with we all agreed we'll probably end up getting suckered back into it but we'll be taking a more wait and see appr...
Okami, Shadow Hearts, Yes Please. Top of my head those two would easily be most wanted.
Before Gears there was Kill.Switch. Was a great cover shooter I thoroughly enjoyed. Genji also had so much potential. The first was decent and could be something awesome if done by the right studio. They dropped the ball on the second Genji. He's no Ryu or Shinobi but the potential is definitely there for an Epic game. There's certainly no shortage as there's probably a good 2...
