aren't we talking about MADDEN here? The game that generates a billion dollars in profit annually? Easily surpassing 10 million units moved annually. The argument of it being a matter of money takes the back seat when you're talking about a game like Madden. Then again, with a game like Madden you'd expect to see a more price friendly MSRP annually and we all know that isn't going to happen because EA needs ALL the money they can get for their awful spending spree of tens of millions on crapp...

I've seen a few different people with this now today. So I doubt it's fake. Not saying it isn't or can't be but it seems real to me. Another instance had this sent to his in box, not from a friend. as already stated, the 360 version got the same score. But what I'm LOL at is it looks like they took snippets from the original 360 review and posted them w/ the PS3 review. I glanced over the 360 review and saw several portions which exactly the same as the 360 review... WTH!?
Because Statistically speaking the PS3 has just about as much, if not the same amount of software as the 360 had from launch through June. And if you don't think so go add up the titles on gamespot.com or elsewhere for US released titles...

the game looked sharp? The only thing sharp about VF5 were the characters. The game as a whole wasn't remotely sharp...
I have every bit of faith in me saying this game is where it's at. The Saturn Version of Sega Rally was absolutely gorgeous and awesome. Of course that was years ago. But this is one title I will not miss and can't wait for. I think they're going to pull off a brilliant game with Sega Rally and it's likely going to be a shame to see just how many people miss/pass over this because they've bought DiRT which is pretty much rubbish...

the game as it is will be suffice and adequate enough to "have a blast" with. You don't have to get ripped off by buying episodic content to "have a blast" with the game.... It's a joke. And the more people who buy into the more the industry will begin to think they can get away with it. This can only be the start of a downward spiral which isn't going to be good for consumers...
yeah, ok, they still have to make the game. And that's why it's been in beta for a month now. You don't role out a beta test if you haven't produced anything yet... They have the system in place but they're just fine tuning everything.
As for the tools needed to implement Home into games. There's certainly no excuse for that, and Sony most definitely needs to send the info out so developers can implement Home and Trophies into upcoming games....

I actually prefer the D-Pad where it is on the PS/PS2/PS3 controller. It's much easier to jump over and hit the D-Pad to scroll through frags and other various items/uses developers implement in games. Also I find it much easier to have a balanced stick in it's current position, and w/ balance comes proper, and precise control. I don't think it would bother me if it were placed up there but I think the layout is proper for the controller [if positioned properly in hands] and works exceptional...
got to mess w/ it tomorrow. But RGB full is on, Super White isn't atm because i have a Bravia XBR3 and Super White goes WAY 2 BRIGHT... Gaming Mode is on for PS3 at all times, and Vivid picture, etc... Just have to check settings and toy w/ it a bit tomorrow. With any luck it'll have just been my eyes tonight.
