I enjoyed GTA IV more than any game this gen. You cannot compare GTA with CoD. CoD has a release every year as we haven't seen a GTA game in over four years. GTA IV has the most atmospheric city of any open world game and the best physics of any open world game. It also had a good story, fuun missions and fun multiplayer. Wait until we see some gameplay but things are looking promising so far.
Multiplatform games are the best games this gen and most are on pc but not only on pc but perform much better on pc. Drivers are easily obtained, especially for Nvidia cards and mods are great. Also, Steam > PSN and XBL. Consoles just have exclusives in their favour. PCs are so easy to use nowadays that people who think they are difficult must be really limited intellectually.

Why bother get the Vita if it will only play the same games as consoles but at inferior quality? For Gravity Rush and Unit 13? Look at all the great multiplatform games available for PS3 and 360. Cloud gaming or PC. The end of consoles is not too far off. Once fibre optic cables are widespread across most developed countries and broadband speeds for the average user reach 25mb and over, Cloud gaming will take over. Consoles will be be smaller cheaper devices that connect to the cloud and stream games. There will still be unique controllers, user interfaces and exclusive games. This addresses the issue of upgrading and the problem of piracy.
A GTX 680 is 12 to 13 times more powerful than the 360 gpu. Just think about that for a second.
Regenerating health puts the icing on the cake. Regenerating health is destroying the challenge in games. Stay behind cover, hop up and shoot, get shot, get down, wait until health regenerates and repeat. That sums up a Gears of War campaign. Uncharted can be like that too but at least enemies break your cover more and there are platforming and stealth elements. I can't see how people don't like survival horror. It is one of my favourite genres. I think it is associated with clunky combat and camera. Though Dead Space 1 had great combat and was survival horror. If it didn't sell well, it was probably because of advertising. Co-op and survival horror can actually work together if done properly but Dead Space 3 does not seem to be heading in that direction. I want to see Outbreak File 3.
