I agree but certain concepts like Outbreak were brilliant. Its just that the execution was not very successful. This game is only a spin-off. Even if it is really bad, I doubt it will hurt the series as its not a main game. I think they should make Outbreak 3 for current gen consoles now that online connectivity is much better. The idea behind Outbreak captures the concept of survival more than any other RE game.
I wouldn't call it disgusting. I think if mp was added and there wasn't a checkpoint before every fight and the party wasn't healed after every fight, the game would be a lot better. I liked the system other than that but I think staggering could be removed. Magic should be used not only to stagger.
The game I'm looking forward to the most by far. 11.11.11!
Yes but the Wii U controller can view the games simultaneously with the tv. Vita and PS3 can't do that. They can both play the same game but not simultaneously. Also the Wii U controller can be used to aim at the screen for game interaction. The Vita can't be used like this with the PS3. The Wii U controller is not a handheld console. It is an innovative controller to assist console play. Also, every Wii U comes with one or two of these controllers and thus every Wii U owner will own ...

Best demo this year was Far Cry 3. The game looks great and a lot of fun to play. It looks like they're returning to what made the first game so good.
I think Nintendo could have done a better job at unveiling the U but Sony could have ended their conference better. Where was the Last Guardian? Where was Agent? Where was Twisted Metal? MS's conference was easily the worst of the three and their worst yet by far but at least they ended with an announcement of a game. S...
What if the mouth has no teeth?
@Wikkied
There's nothing wrong with expanding their market as long as they do not focus too much on casual gamers and neglect the core gamers. Unfortunately, they've done just that. Look at how long they spent with children's Kinect titles in the conference. Not to mention having Star Wars: Kinect, Fable: The Journey and Ryse as on-rail games. They're wasting Crytek's talent on an on-rail game? If that does not anger hardcore gamers, I don't know what will. Son...
I was hoping GTA V would be announced at their conference for Wii U but not to be. They missed a huge opportunity there.
Brutal conference. Kinect this and Kinect that. All on-rails rubbish aimed at the disabled. Seriously, who buys this rubbish? The only good thing in the entire conference was the Kinect scanning. Though I remember buying a 360 to play games, not to scan teddy bears on to the screen. Kinect is a gimmick but MS are not to blame. The idiots who buy it are.
Its good to get hd remakes but let's face it, we've played these game before. It's not as if there is anything new and its amazing how people are treating this as a new game just because its in hd. I want to know what Kojima is working on and I want a new proper MGS game. In a few years, they will be releasing hd remakes of the hd remakes and people will still be gobbling that up like the sheep they are.
I live in Ireland so I couldn't care less about AT&T!
It looks to be a squad based over-the-top third-person shooter. Unlike Gears, I'd say you can give commands to squad mates. This kind of reminds me of Freedom Fighters but more light hearted.
What RPG elements pertain to can be perceived subjectively. Therefore, I might think fast travel and combat is inclusive within those elements simply because the combat was rpgish in nature and freedom of travel is also common among a lot of rpgs. Some unnecessary attributes and skills were not included in Oblivion which was a good move. I enjoyed the Dark Brotherhood quests and I don't believe the main Guild quests were dull. Certainly not most of them. Anyway, I'm sure Bethesda will...
I doubt Agent will be mentioned. It won't release until fall 2013. Rockstar are primarily working on GTA V which should release October 2012.
Good but I think I'll stick to my i7 2600k 4.5ghz overclocked cpu, GTX580 graphics card and 8gb ram pc.
How was it a massive step back from Morrowind? Morrowind's combat was more annoying. There was no proper fast travel in the game. Dungeons were also copy and paste and there was as little variety in the enemies. The outdoor environments were dull and bland. The only thing Morrowind had over Oblivion was more freedom and the ability to kill everyone. Also, most of the main quests in Oblivion were a lot of fun. Do you remember the Dark Brotherhood?
I've spent 400 hours on Oblivion (including Shivering Isles DLC) so I'm not surprised by this.
Fanboys are ignorant, narrow minded and biased. Its fine to like or love a console or even a company but that doesn't mean you have to be subjective in your thinking towards the competition. With E3 starting tomorrow, there will be plenty of fanboy battles over the coming days and inevitably will mean absolutely nothing.
I'll be playing this on my PC from my 3TB hdd. Though I'd say it'll be good on all platforms. Of course the Wii version is the one to get.
