Peter Molyneux is a good developer but he just promises too much and talks too much but he admits his faults. Games like Populous, Team Park and Dungeon Keeper were original and at least he showed genuine passion for games. Hence the reason he received the BAFTA lifetime achievement award in 2011.
On topic, David Cage is a great developer also and Heavy Rain was a unique experience. I think they will blow us away at E3. I wonder if a game could have the same level of depth in...
GTA V March 2013. The Last of Us October 2013. Let's see if I'm right.
@LOGIC
Couldn't agree more.
I hope Sephiroth is playable and Raiden is the final boss so I can rip him to shreds.
I don't think anyone with a brain (most people) actually think the xbox was the first console to do online but it did online pretty well. Halo 2 was a great experience online back in 2004 and compared to psn back then, xbox live was heaven.
Anyway, only kids care about who did what first. It's who does what best is what's important and I think Sony can really make an enjoyable game in a genre that very few games have had. Sometimes people are in the humour for so...
Definitely getting this. Just hope it doesn't suffer from cheapness or cheaters online. If you can't play fair, then f*ck off!
I'm interested to see what gpu the PS4 and 720 have. I hope they are close in power to the GTX 580. I doubt it but if AMD or Nvidia made a great gpu in bulk, they will lower the costs and by late 2013, a GTX 580 will probably be only 300 - 350 euro. Let's say we half 325 and then the cost is 162.5 for the gpu per console including mark up. They could have the console retailing between 400 - 500 euro at launch with very good specs by today's standards. That would let you get 1080p ...
Health regeneration should be done away with. It is ruining fps and tps games. Although I like both franchises, in Gears and a lot of the time in Uncharted, the player is not forced to change cover but can just pop up shoot a guy, get shot, get down and recover, pop up again and rinse repeat. You could not do this in Uncharted 1 because you would run out of ammo and be forced to move or enemies would come in to blast you with a shotgun if you ran out of ammo. AI in shooters needs to be drasti...
Hitler killed 6 million Jews. USE killed 200000 people with the atomic bomb. we kill animals and eat them for our pleasure. We are amoral mofos. Get on with it.
They won't stop rehashing the same old rubbish until people stop buying. clearly those buying are not sick of it. I haven't owned a CoD game since MW2 and I technically didn't even own that (you can fill in the blanks). How many people here can say they didn't get Black Ops and MW3?
I'll be buying it soon once I'm finished the games I'm currently playing. Such excellent work should be supported!
There should be no bounds whatsoever on TV or in games. Next they'll want bounds on our imagination. Once a game or tv program has a mature rating, it should be aloud to have anything in it and I mean anything!
Yes but has it speech recognition? Could the programmer create a grammar with the words "Fus", "Ro" and "Da" and then test how well the speech matches up to a word in this grammar with a certain level of confidence. That can be down with Kinect. I know because I've done it.
Idiotic sexists here should be ashamed. Firstly, Jade has a degree in computer science, as do I. Secondly, she has worked as a programmer for Sony, Microsoft and EA and was producer for Assassin's Creed. Yes it has been proven. You can be a pretty girl and be a nerd simultaneously. I think I'm going to publish a paper on this discovery.
GTA V will probably launch late October with Halo 4 shortly afterwards in November. The exact same thing happened in 2004 with San Andreas and Halo 2. Now eight years later and a Halo entry divisible by two is also being released shortly after a GTA game based in San Andreas.
I don't think these are the specs as they would not be a huge improvement over PS3. I'm guessing that the PS3's graphics card will be a little less powerful than a Radeon 6950. I think its ram will be 2gb and its cpu clocked at 3.5 - 3.8 ghz. This would make it quite powerful and would be as good as a medium range pc graphically. It will probably sell for 400 - 500 euro at launch and come with a 300 - 500gb hard disk. The problem with consoles is that they have to be small and rel...
How dare these companies try to make money!! Everything must be free God dammit!! Only kidding but if company's make a small wrong move nowadays like putting a not so good ending at the end of their game, people go crazy. If those said people put as much energy into doing something productive as they do complaining, they might make something of themselves. Though they don't and therefore stay failures.
I think the real reason might be that the game didn't shape up to what they wanted it to be. Maybe they thought the press would give them a hard time over it. After all, you are talking to a little boy. What else can you do with him? Unless they were aiming at paedophiles or priests, I'm not sure who else would really be interested.
Here is the problem with Vita. It is a portable PS3 instead of being a proper handheld. Its games are just like PS3 and 360 games. Therefore why would someone with a 360 or PS3 buy a Vita when they are going to play similar games on inferior hardware to PS3 and 360. The 3DS is not like the consoles and that's why it sells more. The only point to the Vita imo is to be able to play on the go but how much time does the average gamer spend travelling? Look at Resistance on Vita. It is inferio...
