Matchmaking is BAD for mp gaming in general. One thing i've always loved about PC games is the ability to choose where I play. EA are WORSE than ever.. they have been trialing microtransactions via xbox and ps3 for a while now in their ea sports series giving people with big wallets an advantage.. or at least in fifa. Only thing that will be difficult to replicate would be this clown developers arrogance.. The fact they are running their mouths off like this just shows that they fear GT5. It's too bad both games didn't come out at the same time and both were multiplatform... i'd love to see GT5 truly shut these clowns up.

Do people really think this will sell THAT well? I mean sure cod is very popular and gamers will lap it up.. but in all fairness and honesty.. what percentage of people who bought cod4 even know about the price increase? I'd say less than 20%. A large proportion of sales will come from people just walking into the store and buying it.. I wonder how many people are going to walk into the store see the price and refuse to buy it? Quite a few imo ofcourse activision will probably lower the price...
How is the new pes back to it's simulation routes? While there has definately been improvements, it sure doesn't feel like a football sim to me but more like a next generation sensible soccer with the way you pass the ball.. not to mention whoever green lit the running animations needs to get fired.. maybe it would be acceptable if they shat themselves but nobody runs with their legs open like they did on the demo.
The simple argument for this is simple and obvious to many pc gamers out there.. considering the community is somewhat more mature with many more older PC gamers... at 23 years young, I would put being able to easily find populated servers with similar aged people and communities over skill any day (how the fuff can you even mention ping in an argument.. risk matchmaking's abilities or just check the ping of all available places to play.
IW really have lost touch with their PC ...
