What a retard... if epic didn't sign an exclusive deal with microsoft, their game wouldn't have been anywhere near as popular as it is.. gears of war was HUGE and this is largely due to microsoft's marketing machine getting behind it.
That's BS... might not want to mislead people but it doesn't change the fact they're damn dirty ****s with the points. It's ironic how everything seems to cost just the right price which means you end up buying more points than you need to.. the amount of times i've been 100 points off something.. it's annoying. Very petty in my opinion, while you can say that it's not a big deal and that it's easy to level up, but at the end of the day it is a form of blackmail and the negatives of this ploy far far outweigh the positives in terms of the amount of people who will return.

To be honest, hardcore fps gamers don't play 360 or ps3.. they play PC because they know no matter how good a fps game is, it just can't compare to keyboard and mouse.
Personally I think it's just lazy.. gameplay is better than story in video games sure.. I mean if we want stories we have books and films but ultimately, lack of story is just lazy in my opinion. Having deep characters and an engrossing story helps the player to immerse himself in the world and build emotional attachments to the characters which ultimately make for an overall better game.. who wasn't sad and shocked when Sephiroth killed Aeris? When Sniper Wolf shot Meryl?
