Haha this is so going to turn into one of those debates.. you know the ones.. ignorant console gamers come here saying "our consoles are better" without ever playing a pc game and elitest pc gamers will come here and look down on console gamers and mock them.
Console gaming is cheaper but in no stretch better. Mods, dedicated servers, far far far better mp searching options just make for an overall better experience.
All of the things listed in the article seemed more like conveniences as opposed to making it "better". If you do mp gaming, PC gaming is far superior to the xbox at least and ps3 from what i've seen but I rarely use my ps3 online these days.

Yheir failure was their decision to release sub par games on the next gen format.. their failure was merging with enix and finally their biggest failure was letting Sakaguchi go. Games like The last remnant, Infinite Undiscovery and that darn awful space fighting sim they made wouldn't have done much better on the ps3.
The same way as how mw2 is covered with children.. in the UK at least you have to be over 18 to purchase the game and when I hear some 10 year old on xbl.. it just shows how poor parenting is getting these days. No 10 year old on the planet should be subject to the sort of crap that goes on over xbl.
Man Japanese developers really do treat UK people as second class citizens in comparison to North Americans. Definitive casual mp game sure but competitive wise it's a load of crap.. so many balancing issues with so many perks, weapons, side weapons etc which can make public servers boring as hell to play in. I remember playing against some guy who done nothing in the whole match but crouch in a place where nobody would relistically spot him and use the heartbeat sensor to just pop up when someone passes by.. it's tactics like this which has ruined this game... not to mention the idiot who put therm...
XBL is better.. I havn't been on PSN for over a year though but in all fairness, it was very... silent to the point where it almost felt like I was playing against bots (resistance 2).

Drinking and gaming never go hand in hand.. as said in the article, you can't game and drink at the same time and maybe it's just me but I drink way slower when I game.
Also the last point.. tidy everything up? WAH? Apart of the whole drinking experience is drinking yourself stupid waking up the next morning with a banging headache anticipating what sort of condition you left your room in.. taking that away would be missing half the fun.
That's sad... while I knew it wouldn't replace the controller, one of my favourite ideas with natal was the ability to incorporate it into games so you wouldn't need the controller and I was especially looking forward to playing call of time crisis (light gun cod!)

Don't know if it helps the other way around but from my experience, people who are good at sports are generally good at video games. I've always been naturally giften at pretty much all sports and that transfers over very well with games.
However I think as someone mentioned... if I had a big sporting competition, i'd game as a way to unwind and relax.. from a psychological perspective VGs before sports is a great idea.

A halo mmo just wouldn't work with the current gen.. considering a very large portion of the 360 player base have 20gb hdds, it just wouldn't be realistic considering you take into account other dlc, demos, videos, etc.
However a halo mmo for the next gen xbox would be one hell of a way to kick the next gen off.
