It will never happen.. the cultural differences will make it extremely difficult to break into the Japanese market especially with the RPG genre. The Japs like their over the top characters and cliche personalities... unless they went for that sort of style, I really can't see them breaking into the market. Look at Oblivion, a solid rpg by most people's standards but the Japs didn't really bother too much and it was criticised for well.. not being Japanese.

It's microsoft's job to make xbox live a better place for everyone (not that it will ever happen) if you got your account banned for using the javelin glitch, good riddance may you never join again... same goes for anyone else who gets banned for glitching.
Also why would it be suspensions? I think people should get banned for glitching, they ruin the game for everyone else and while you could say it's not exactly against xbox live rules, anyone who spends their time exploitin...
Only case study here is how to get cheap hits to your website. FF7 was a genre defining game for many people.. it was the first game I ever truly got addicted to.. the story was incredible and I remember my 10 hour non stop play sesssions plus I completed it at least 10 times.. how many games offer that sort of replayability these days? NONE!
I doubt it will happen.. if it does i'm selling my xbox and all the games and replacing them with ps3 versions. There is no justification for the current price as it is.. matchmaking is a joke, the servers themselves are slower than psn's and the dashboard already has ads plus i'm sure microshaft would make a profit just from marketplace sales if they scrapped the price. If they get too greedy in these times, they'll get burned in my opinion and don't even get me started on the outrageous acc...
Gaming does help a lot more than people realise.. look at the competitive halo scene.. while it's filled with a bunch of morons, the tactical knowledge, reflexes and coordination required would help in many different aspects of life.
How will they supsend people.. will microsoft have an enforcement team playing games all day? Or will you need to report someone 50 trillion times first? Still I hope they do get banned but in fairness, it's the minority.. i'd say 1 in 30 games you'll meet someone using the glitch.
Too bad WoW doesn't have a "lose your virginity" achievement otherwise he'd have 2 achievements to get.
Not suprised.. Konami were blatantly not putting put effort into the series anymore. I mean look at the last one.. I didn't even know it was coming out, just walked into my shop one day and there it was.
Well what do they expect? 99.99999% of profiles with the name "lesbian" in it will be done by some annoying 12 year old prick thinking it's cool. Why do people feel the need to broadcast their sexual orientation in a profile anyway? It's like throwing wood to the flame.. with the flame being a bunch of abusive tosspots looking for anything they can use to ridicule people as is the nature with the large majority of people who speak on public servers.
Without japanese developers gaming would be boring. Don't get me wrong.. i'm not trying to insult western ones but only the Japs come up with the fun little quirky things which brings back the fun in gaming as opposed to the endless fps stuff we get rammed down our throats... plus their games usually offer the best stories.. mgs series comes to mind.
Great.. not even out yet and ubisoft already has plans to unravel their shovelware crap onto us all.. looks like nintendo won't be the only console with 90% crap games anymore :(

Crackdown 2 a major title? Only reason the first one done well was because of the beta access for halo 3.. if crackdown 2 pulls the same I supose the sales will be good but come on.. crackdown 1 was a 7/10 game at best.. great idea with no real substance.
Even as a long term 360 owner and someone who plays that way more than any other console.. i've lost faith in microsoft. To me the shock will once again be to give the middle finger to their core gamer base like myself by giving us nothing to get excited about with Natal. Then they will awe the general public, media and every other retard with the most impractical game around aka Milo.

Well my virtual disc was only in for the installation time then it was cracks all the way.. plus I can still do all those things listed in that article for things to do in mw2 without activision seeing a penny of my money!
Nah.. my pc can't handle the game so the game is constantly being swapped between that and fifa on my 360.. bought the game second hand though so that's a victory in some sense.

They are probably going off server figures which is probably about right. Considering the amount of people who just pirated the game out of anger.. if they made more money though so far from the pc version than with the original mw, i'd call BS. Hmm i'm still iffy about this game so far.. I mean it's still probably my most anticipated game but everything that has been mentioned about this game has left me thinking it feels more like KOTOR Coop edition as opposed to a fully functional mmo.
As someone else said though, fingers crossed that it isn't a hardcore raiding game and hopefully it will bring a lot of pvp to the table.. I mean it just wouldn't be star wars without the actual wars.
