The whole point of games is for them to be fun. If it isn't fun it isn't serving it's purpose and is a valid excuse for a refund.

Game haven't learned a damn thing since they went into administration the last time.

Same old business practices that got them into trouble the first time around.

It would be better if they concentrated on their online store and not their retail stores as they are severely overpriced.

Never buy AAA games directly from steam (or Origin and Uplay). Use any other 3rd party digital store to get them cheaper like cdkeys.com, instant-gaming.com or greenmangaming.com. It's only the initial release where games are the same price as the consoles on steam.

Over time games do become really cheap on steam in their spring, summer, fall and xmas sales.

I've been with steam since the beginning nearly 14 years ago. I've acquired nearly 13...

It's been coming to PC from the beginning and on steam as well as the devs are self publishing the game on PC.

Microsoft have nothing to do with the game on PC.

I'll definitely be getting the game on PC when it's released. Can't wait :)

PC gamers don't use Xbox Live. We have Steam, GoG, Uplay, Origin etc. All free stores and launchers to play our games on, online or offline.

Even though it comes built into Windows 10 it's hardly used by anyone but the most fanatical Microsoft fanboy on PC.

PC gamers are on entirely different path than what Microsoft wants us to be on. Windows Store is an abject failure and should be used for small apps only not full blown games on PC.

Don't bother this is a console only website and PC gamers are kept muted along with the PC gaming news.

Hence your downvotes just for mentioning PC. I'll probably get some downvotes too :)

@SonyRules

I know I'm feeding the troll but never include PC with the Xbox Live numbers. We don't pay for it we hardly ever use it on PC.

Microsoft will never be able to introduce paid subscription as they aren't the leading company on PC (no one owns PC) and never will be again. Valve has more influence on PC with steam and GoG is close behind.

They tried to charge PC gamers for Xbox Live before with G4WL and failed. They ...

No it's not. Microsoft only profit from games sold on PC platform if they publish them like all other devs/publishers on the platform. If they don't they don't get a damn thing. On Xbox they own the platform and profit from all games sold on it.

Microsoft supply the OS on PC and that's it. They don't sell the hardware and only publish a limited number of games software on PC.

No one owns PC platform.

Actually it's not.

Many PC gamers myself included haven't touched the Windows Store (as we've uninstalled it) for the so-called Xbox exclusives as they are ridiculously priced and tied to the horrendous Windows Store with it's severely limiting UWP crap.

Microsoft are losing on both fronts, Xbox and PC.

We thought G4WL was bad well the Windows Store is worse.

No you won't. If Microsoft doesn't own the game it's up to the developer or publisher to release that PC game on the Xbox platform not Microsofts.

MS have no say in what PC exclusives go to Xbox. They have about the same influence to get PS exclusive games to Xbox as they do with PC.

MS developed Xbox to compete with PC and Playstation. Just because MS supply the OS for PC platform does not mean they own the platform. Far from it. The only pro...

Quite a lot of people just aren't buying Denuvo games now until it's removed. I wouldn't say that was a win at all. Publishers are just alienating potential customers from buying their games. Guilt before proven innocent is not the way to go.

More effort and money goes into stopping piracy than optimising the games on PC. It's a sad state of affairs. No wonder we get piss poor ports.

Sales have not increase due to Denuvo. In most cases the...

It's a ghost town for PC game articles as the console fanboys don't want us here as it's a console fanboys circle jerk.

I come back now and again but it's getting much worse for PC on here so why should I come here and read about a few idiots arguing about which console has better fps or resolution when most of the time there is no difference.

I'll correct someone on articles who try to spread BS about PC platform but that's about ...

Microsoft aren't the publisher for Ashen, The Last Night and a few other games that was shown on Xbox conference coming to PC so they don't get anything from PC gamers. MS only gets a cut from PC games if they publish the games. They aren't that important in the grand scheme of things on PC platform any more like they used to be 15+ years ago but they gave that up to be a console manufacturer.

They have limited influence on PC now and 9...

You have no clue about PC gaming do you? Your diatribe above seems to confirm that.

Once you pay the initial cost for the PC everything else is cheaper. Cheaper games, no online subscriptions, no upgrading every year due to lower console tech etc.

I haven't upgraded for a few years now as I didn't need to but I'm not trying to game at 4K/60fps as it's not essential for playing games. That's more a vanity project for the PC enthusiasts ...

Just to annoy you further I'll be getting it on PC on steam and not Windows Store. How do you like them apples? :P

Get a life it's just a game coming to PC and Xbox. Deal with it! :D

How'd you get that when all consoles are running the game at 30 fps?

Having a powerful graphics card by console standards means nothing when the CPU is piss poor. The Xbonex is a top heavy console and not as balanced as a high end PC.

They are only as strong as their weakest link, the CPU.

Expect more 4k/30fps games or 1080p/60fps compromises.

They'll be some back room deals from Microsoft this time to give some relevance to Scorpio.

I game on PC so I play whatever is developed for my platform. There's no way I'd buy a console for 1 or 2 games not coming to PC. I have enough games coming to PC to last me the next few years.

AAA games don't interest me that much nowadays. They seem to be only a big deal on consoles where they add ammunition for the console war.

I've removed Windows Store and Xbox App from Windows 10. I don't need it and I didn't ask for it so won't use it.

Many PC gamers have removed the piss poor Windows Store as it's not that important to the PC platform if you aren't interested in shoddy console ports from MS.

I have enough digital stores and launchers for my PC games to last me for many years.

MS are fighting a losing battle to entice PC gamers to t...

There is no price announced it's all speculation at this point from Xbox fanboys hoping it isn't too expensive. Microsoft have always said Scorpio is a premium console so it will have a premium price. I'm expecting $600+ at launch.

We shall see at E3.

Console gamers need to understand Microsoft only have control over their own games no one elses. They'll be no PC exclusives going to Xbox from other developers or publishers without their consent.

The only games shared by PC and Xbox are ones that are published by Microsoft. There are games on the Windows Store but the dev/pubs wanted them on there.
