All we need now is a price - performance analysis but we won't get that till E3 or beyond as MS seem to be scared to let people know how much more the Scorpio is going to cost compared to the Pro.
Developing a powerful console like the Scorpio seems to be will come at a price. A very high one unless MS are prepared to lose money on each console sold as that's a possibility to gain more sales than it should get otherwise.
Actually it's the other way around the 2Dark developers lost the support of PC gamers and it's kickstarter backers when they added DRM to their game when they said their game would be DRM free on their kickstarter pitch.
Ignorance is bliss eh? :)
Yes it is.
And you are seriously under estimating developers entitlement and abusing their paying customers by charging premium prices for shitty games with no chance of refunding.
All store owners should stand up for their customers not the developers. Automatic refunds in a specific time scale is just step one.
Maybe the Chinese Room shouldn't charge a premium price for their 2hr walkabout games and people wouldn't feel the need to refund if they charged a fair price.
Less than 2 hrs played or within 14 days of purchase is completely fair. Anyone that disagrees with that is anti-consumer or should make better or longer game for a reasonable price point.
These games that are coming need to be exclusives for the Xbox and not new multiplatform games moneyhatted to deny other platforms from playing them.
Sony and Microsoft are both guilty of doing this at E3.
Microsoft really need to invest in their platform with new 1st party studios and not just coasting along on the backs of 3rd party games.
Have you actually played the game from beginning to end like I and many others have?
If not your opinion means fk all to me.
It's a damn good game. Whether you believe that or not that's on you. I just can't be bothered to explain why ME:A is a good game to people that formed their opinion from reading reddit or neogaf, behave like sheep and who have maybe played 2-3 hrs of the EA Access and think they know everything about the game.
...
They might not need "boost mode" but they do need games. A powerful console is useless without the games to support it.
Speak for yourself! I have Dawn of War 3 on PC end of April.
Such a shame that the game has quite a few problems on PC that hasn't been fixed yet. It's one of the reasons I've held off buying the game. If it worked well and was optimised on PC I would have bought it but it's not so I won't :)
Without a lot of new and future games it doesn't matter how powerful the console is.
Older, updated games doesn't really count. Microsoft needs to invest in new first party studios with new IPs if they are ever going to be taken seriously.
To me this is a 4k UHD movie player for the rich niche market with a 4k tv.
Once again this is just a console maker that has skipped a stage and gone straight to 4k instead of actually having ...
This is what it has come to now. If people keep buying microtransactions and DLC like this in AAA or any other games it will continue.
As customers we have all the power but we still don't use it effectively enough. Stop buying this crap and the publishers will stop selling it as it won't be worth it for them.
For Honor isn't paying for past games sins. This is past, present and future games sins until we stop it.
E3 is pretty much a marketing event where you find out which 3rd party games have been made timed or full exclusive by Microsoft or Sony.
Loads of fun for PC gamers watching the shitshow unfold to see what games they won't be playing in the next year :)
It should be an event I look forward to as a gamer but there's just too much money being thrown around with "under the table" deals these days. It has become the event I least look forwar...
@Shin-Zantetsuken
If Bungie and Activision don't change their ways Destiny 2 will die whatever in a few months on PC and maybe consoles.
Only the die hard fanboys like you will keep playing the same crap day in day out.
As a PC gamer I will be trying out the beta to see if the game is any good and if not I just won't buy it. Simple as that.
I don't appreciate being nick n dimed by developers who are too ar...
Who the hell asked for 4k gaming? It's not even that common on the PC platform yet never mind the consoles. None of my friends on PC have 4k displays to run 4k games well. I certainly don't.
I feel the console manufacturers have skipped a step. How about they develop a console that can do 1080p/60 fps consistently before they even try to move to 4k?
4k gaming will not be mainstream for another few years but Sony and MS seem to want to push that ag...
I'm sure you'll love it. The game is damn good so far. Lots to explore and discover and a lot of information to digest about Andromeda and why people decided to make the trip.
Ignore the haters and just enjoy the game for what it is. A Mass Effect game :)
It's their loss and your gain.
The Xbox and the PC platform are separate platforms.
Microsoft owns Windows and Xbox but only control the Xbox. The PC is an open platform and Microsoft does not profit from systems or games sold on that platform like they do with Xbox. MS have no say over the PC platform they just supply bug fixes and additional features for Windows every few months.
MS developed the Xbox to move away from the PC platform so they could have complete control over a platfo...
It's released on 22nd March at 11pm GMT in UK.
I can't wait. It's going to be one hell of a journey. I feel sorry for all the haters of this game and many others. They'll be missing out on some great games over the next year.
It seems everyone likes to jump on the hate bandwagon without trying out the game themselves. It's the in thing now hating a game without rhyme or reason.
Facial animations is one aspect of the game. I agree they are poor but Mass Effect is much more than the animations.
If you want to be a sheep and agree with all the haters who has a beef with the game that's on you. At least form your own opinion and test the game out. You can try it out on EA/...
What do you lot care if the game is 4k or not? It's a non AAA game that isn't important. Most of you won't play it or have a 4k tv anyway so won't see the difference.
I'll just play it on my PC and have some fun while you lot keep bickering amongst yourselves about number of pixels on the screen or lack thereof.
And you say PC gamers are elitists. Hypocrisy at it's finest :)
