Not sure how you came to that conclusion, they aren't really pumping out many exclusives. Their strategy this generation has been to offer the same games you can find on other platforms with timed DLC.
A lot of those games I forgot about while waiting for them to be localized. By the time they release I am usually so pissed off that I don't want to buy them at full price anymore. I wanted to beat Reggie bloody with my wii after hearing about Xenoblade being released in EU and not NA. Region free consoles and games is the way to go if they're going to do crap like that.
Well, the graphic says 2077 so we still have a long wait ahead of us.
The best part about a new engine is that maybe we'll see some new games instead of more ff13.
It wasn't even that great of a book, you kind of had to overlook that the entire population acts silly. That said, it looks like they're talking about a game to launch with the movie which means the game would more than likely suck regardless of how good the book.
I swear japans interest has switched from giant robots and saving the world to pretending to be a little girl.
The only thing I didn't like was that I always felt I should be fighting more than one ship at some point. The game was so fun that it didn't really matter, but it made me want a multiplayer mode where I could have a fleet of friends against a fleet of player enemies. Teleporting my crew off to an allied ship when it was about to explode or something would be great.
It's one of those games where it was so fun in its simplicity that you almost wish it could be ...
Most reviewers, that receive early copies of games, are instructed to hold off publishing the review until the game is released, unless the review is overwhelmingly positive. From time to time you'll hear of a review that deviates from this, but they usually don't get early copies of games from publishers anymore. As a result the initial batch of reviews is a bit skewed and a prudent gamer would wait a week or two in order to make a well informed evaluation.
That's not my account it just has the same name.
It would make sense if instead of xp it were money and you were buying new weapons, bullets, armor, or gear. But it just seems weird that you get xp in these games to unlock things like that.
They're just being lazy. They get to reuse assets from the other two games by doing this which makes for a relatively shorter development time.
Scuba Squad go!
I have to agree with myself on this one.
I think some people just aren't familiar with what happens after Microsoft buys a company. As a fan of old Fasa games, I won't spoil the ending for you.
Silly Kotaku, video games don't have feet.
That's the dumbest thing I've read in quite a while.
Do you hate THQ that much?
I'm a huge fan, and it enraged me. I've been a fan of sex ever since I found out about it and I have to say that scene is just a disservice to the craft.
You joke, but look at front mission. Makes me want to cry.
Sounds like Capcoms next Day 1 DLC to me.
It's so easy to tell when someone actually plays games as opposed to being paid to pretend they like them.
I'm not sure how that's sketchy at all, they started this generation by buying 3rd party support to eat away at the PS marketshare. They then offered timed exclusives on games to which consumers got wise about. You didn't need to spend 200-300 dollars on a new console you just had to wait a bit.
This resulted in the HD platforms being split in user base so every intelligent, 3rd party developer that wanted to make HD games made multi-platorm games for the rest o...
