I never really enjoyed this game. I bought it when it came out and quickly stopped playing after the launch with all the bugs. I came back when they went F2P for a little bit, they'd given me some of their monopoly money so I made the ugliest, bulkiest, manliest orc possible and named him Princess Gromnir. I then used the monopoly money to purchase a wedding dress from the store and had way more fun playing through that way.

Most of the card games are P2W. Even the real life predecessors were P2W. That said they can still be fun and there is always the excitement of collecting cards. The problem I have with these are just the price tag and how often the games don't let you trade cards. Unless you're dead set on grinding for cards they may as well have you hooked up to a machine because they're going to milk you each card expansion.
It kinda boggles my mind. Now, I don't play Mario kart often, but not knowing anything about the new Mario kart I still assumed there were brakes. It's one of those things I expect in every racing game.

I never said they make you more of a gamer, I said they were designed for gamers. They weren't really thinking of their accessibility to the masses when it was designed. Does not being able to play them make you less of a gamer? No, of course not, and it's damn silly of you to think that's what I was implying.

I've always thought of these games as gamers games. They're great, and I love them, but you don't really recommend them to people who aren't very experienced with gaming or who wouldn't appreciate the challenge. It'd be like recommending a grand strategy game to someone who has never even played RISK.

I don't do mobile gaming but every year I hope the general public realizes the extent to which most of these games are a scam. I generally stick to PC and consoles but you see publishers try to stick this crap in games from time to time and it's really disgusting. It's pretty bad in MMOs and F2P FPSs and the number of times I've heard people say "It's not P2W you can get all the items in the game without money" is hilarious and depressing.

I believe the title is a bit misleading in regards to this article. "Japan gets kinda weird (for a change)" might lead you to think that the minecraft advertising strategy is something really weird.
But what they're really saying is "This minecraft advert is pretty tame in comparison to all the other batshit crazy stuff going on in japan... isn't that weird for a change"

Yeah, no. This sounds like some P2W bullshit aimed at getting around Russian piracy. 9/10 odds that it's a Planetside 2 clone where you'll be grinding for guns unless you shell out 1k dollars.
Either way there's no way in hell I'd consider this the best possible way to bring halo to the PC.
It would have been fine if the every quest was interesting and worth doing, but it felt like one of those boring mmos quests at times.
They make so many DW and DW clones that you can convince yourself to wait for a long time. I've always found the game to be mindless fun but ever since buying DW6 I've put off buy them because of how bad that version was. Their choice to reuse skill sets for multiple characters made the game significantly boring, so always check the reviews before buying these things.

I was expecting "The Elder Scrolls Online Is Officially Coming to an End" as the title when i started reading it.
I think the biggest disappointment was the character customization for me. It seemed no matter how hard you try you are stuck looking like the default because the hair is all set to go in one direction and if you mess with it you'll look silly.
