Yea, the GCD system is a bit out of date. That stuff was for old MMOs where real time fighting mechanics weren't possible over the net or with the hardware. Most new games are moving towards something more like Tera's combat, and if we can get rid of that whole theme park style of game it'll turn out to be a better genre as a whole.
There's a joke in there about how they both say you can do anything but take it back when you start asking about the dog. I'm going to take one of my bubbles away for dirty thoughts now.
It's going to be funny when FFXVI gets released first.
Take a moment to think of your least favorite Tekken character. Got it? Ok, now imagine that is the only character you can play and there are like 40 other characters and they all cost 20$ each. Now you're probably thinking 20$ that's a horrible price for one character, but here's the thing those can be unlocked if a cow jumps over the moon while shooting comets out of its ass. In the end people will pay 500$ while calling you entitled for wanting a free game.
...
If it's not the real use of the word, the n4g body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.
"Could"
This always happens when companies hype up an announcement for a big franchise and then let it build up only to release a mobile game or some other cash in. It wouldn't happen if developers didn't troll their fanbase.
I was excited in 2006 for the Agito and Versus reveals, now I'm just mad.
Dungeon Keeper 3! Let's see it Sony!
.....
What? I can hope for anything!
Kojima, baby, don't limit yourself to using real words for this title. Tactical Espionagence sounds just fine and you know you want to call it that anyways.
Well of course it objectifies women, they have to use polygons to make the character models.
He's that friend who was following the new transformers movie since it was announced and comes over to tell you how awesome it's going to be every day for 2 years before it's released.
I didn't think that was all that great. I was hoping for something more like the old mechwarrior games but it's really just an arena shooter with mech controls. Additionally, I'm not convinced the free to play model works well with shooters. Hawken, Planetside 2, and Dust 514 all seem to use the free players as farming materials for those who paid for better items.
I'm happy to see some more MMOs coming to the consoles it was just FF11 for a long time, bu...
24 more mannequins and the LAPD unlocks the tactical nuke.
Nothing makes you wonder "Hey is this going to burn my nuts off" like trying to game on a laptop.
To give some perspective, these were the original animations for the ancient magic spells when 14 first came out. Ancient magic of course has always been some of the more powerful spells in Final Fantasy and FFXI Fans may remember FF11s Flare, Freeze, Tornado, Flood, and Burst. Well I present to you what I called Match Stick, Ice Cube, Pleasant Breeze, Drip, and what happens when you shuffle your feet along the carpet.

While this sounds like a bad thing it does give me hope that they've completely given up on games for windows live. Surely no developer, with the exception of Namco, is dumb enough to support GFWL when MS won't even do it.
The measure I use on these MMOs lately is not graphics, but weather or not there is an npc with a big ! standing 2 feet away from me when i first log in. If there is, then I know the game is going to be another "Follow the quests killing x many monsters until you've reached max level without partying with anyone at all" type of game.
I'm seriously amazed that in refining the MMO genre developers have increasingly reduced the whole multiplayer aspect.
If you really really really like shooters I can see your point, those games are all really good. I just hope indie developers and kickstarters can save the other genres that I love.
We've already had the TORtanic.
