"The 360 controller is better than the DS3 for every game type, not just shooters. DS3 is only good for beat em ups. "
Read what you just posted.
@Dreamer09
"Major bugs on every platform?"
Yes. Bethesda is known for their spaghetti programing they're just lucky enough to have a modding community that is willing to fix all of it.
The main problem was that Vaan was presented as your main character and ends up having nothing to do with the plot of the game. I've heard various stories about how he was never even intended to be the main character but his presence in the game diluted the story because you instinctively try to imagine it from his point of view.
Ashe or Basche would have been the wiser choice for main character and I still imagine Ashe as Lightning's prototype they're pretty s...

Calling it Origin actually makes me think it's a second rate product. Like a laptop designed for EA's origin service. Time to come up with a new name.
I wish Japanese developers would just hire someone to translate the subtitles and include them with the JP launch. If they are going to take years and years to localize a game I'd rather just import a subtitled version like I did with Demon's Souls.
@summerofgeorge
I think you're having a separate conversation george because you're taking this out of context in that we aren't discussing handhelds, mobile, or the current catalog of jrpgs. We are specifically talking about consoles and only referencing the lack of jrpgs during the beginning of this generation.
The 360 and Wii have more rpgs than their predecessors because they are more successful than their predecessors. On the whole the amou...
Nintendo everything, living up to their web name by literally covering everything Nintendo... even stupid fishing game stories.
I'm beginning to think summerofgeorge is living in some alternate reality. Do you have a list of all these jrpgs that were released at the beginning of this generation?
I hope they both lose... if that's possible.
I blame the developers and publishers for what happened this gen with jrpgs. I don't even feel sorry for them either because they sat there for 2-3 years taking Microsoft's money and ended up splitting and starving the fans of jrpg games. I don't blame Microsoft for wanting to include more jrpgs in their catalog, but the developers should have known most jrpg fans live in japan and they were supporting a console that had very little presence there.
I hope the next generation of consoles implement a push to talk button somewhere on the new controllers because listening to what other players have going on in the background is annoying. Online gaming is becoming more and more popular and I don't need to listen to any more people forget to take their headset off before they go to the bathroom.
As for controller design they should offer a variety of controller design options and not limit it to the standard one. Thir...

What's a Magazine?
I hope it's good, but it seems whenever a company has said "We're trying to appeal to a broader audience" it has been indicative of a bad game this entire generation.
It always annoys me when I see a game on a digital service for the same price or more than, in some cases, what I can get it at retail. Companies just don't seem to want to share the savings they get from the exclusion of packaging and retail companies. Even steam games are still 50/60$, but I can at least wait for those to go on sale.
Have you guys heard, FFv13 was cancelled!
After playing DA2, looking back onto DA:O makes the game seem like a masterpiece... even if it was really just good.
I bought L4D2 a long time ago and always wondered why Cold stream always had (beta) by the name when it never really seemed to go away, change, or come out of beta.
KB more than likely had some sort of do not compete clause in his contract with Sony or some bit about Sony owning the KB persona. That's pretty standard stuff. Sony probably didn't pay anything, they more than likely just wrote a letter saying they were going to sue someone and would more than likely win.
