Hopefully the console wins will translate to some additional market share on PC. I read that some PC games will be released optomized for AMD hardware now. I have aways supported AMD for the price/performance and hope they get some additional market share.
I would have paid $450 for a default PS4 package with the eye included.
I am currently replaying KZ3 in 3D. Seems like the developers are forgetting about 3D with the new generation which saddens me. 3D makes the games far more immersive and PS3 had more than the 360. 3D aside, I reserved a copy right after E3.
I owned a 3DO. That was a disaster.
Sony obviously has more exclusives because they own more studios and manage them more intelligently.
But for 3rd party there is little reason to release an exclusive title early in a console life cycle. Install base is small so by going multi-platform they get more return on investment.
However, we can clue in on which platforms they prefer, such as the exclusive Sony content on Destiny and Watchdogs.

My latest 360(fourth since launch)is jacked with one red ring (E-74). So Microsoft will not fix it for free and I am broke.
Hopefully I will purchase an updated 360 and not have to worry about the latest bricking fiasco.

I believe Project Gotham 3 would be the most technologically impressive launch title.
I bought a PS3 shortly after launch, and I thought Resistance 1 looked like an Xbox game. (although a fantastic shooter)
Epic should be higher. GoW sets the standards this generation. And I think EA should get a pass for Dead Space.

I am glad the gameplay has been improved, not just the eye-candy. I tried the first one and found it to a be below average game with a great story. Definitely picking this one up.
Yes there was monetary bribes invovled...no different than the video game industry and exclusives.
More importantly, perhaps the execs realized it takes more than a video game console to win a format war. Stand alone player sales for Blu-Ray are far behind HD-DVD.
This war will be a long one, that is why I chose the safe route by backing both formats!

I admit that KZ2 looks mighty good from the E3 video, so I picked up a copy of the original for PS2. If the sequal is anything like the origninal than I think this will be the biggest flop of 2008.
I returned my copy 2 days later.

I have both, and if the movie is out for both I pick up the HD-DVD version. Picture quality is close, but the edge goes to HD-DVD.
I just picked up 2 newer Warner brothers releases, Blood Diamond on Blu-Ray and the Matrix trilogy on HD-DVD. The matrix set is mind blowing. It's like watching the movies for the first time. Each disk is loaded with bonus material as well. Blood Diamond picture quality was not as good as I expected, and the PS3 is telling me...
Heavenly Sword: short demo but indicates an above average game. Not the God of War with a chick I was expecting.
MGS4: I say a let down. Above average graphics mixed with complicated controls. Now-gen but not ground breaking.
RE5 Trailer: sweet. This game has promise for sure.
Haze: old trailer. Not the best way to pump up this promising game.
Agree with you moneybags...a good game. better graphics than God of Waar, but weaker controls. I wish they could replace the camera shoulder buttons with a block button. Trying to block to match the attacking enemies color will take getting used to. A good game that wets my appetite for PS3 God of War.
BTW, I still have your game and have been itching to watch that movie again.

I still think the extra CUs on the PS4 will have more impact than this RAM debate, epsecially for first party games. Either way, as the platforms age we should be able to observe which total package of hardware is the powerhouse.
