Gravity Rush is a fantastic game and free with PS plus. You cannot go wrong.
Really enjoyed the comparison tool that lets me move the zoomed area around the screenshot. This way we can zone in on the details we want to compare on actual screen captures vice watching compressed video. I would like to see more use of this tool for head to head comparisons.
If you an individual only has the financial means to purchase one system it boils down to exclusives, performance, and value. Two of the three were awarded to the PS4...and those are not subjective. The PS4 is more powerful and $100 less.
Hope this comes to the US the game sounds very interesting and has some amazing graphics.
Agree with both above remote play with the Vita is amazing. I am still exporing the smartphone app and have not expolred all the functionality.
As far as launch lineup is concerned that is individual preference. I am a Forza fan and Ryse looks entertaining but Killzone and Resogun appealed to me more and I have been having a blast playing them.
I picked up the camera and tried out the playroom software that comes preinstalled on the PS4. It is fun little game to toy around with. What stood out to me was that it performed far better than my original Kinect ever did. I have not played the XOne yet so I have no opinion as to the technical superiority of the Kinect 2. It seems they have invested heavily in all the technologies built into it. But is it possible that the simplest solution may be the better one in the end?
Personally I love gaming in 3D. It adds to the immersion and wearing glasses is not noticeable (at least to me). My favorites include Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, Super Stardust, Wipeout, and Gears of War 3. I was hoping 3D would get another push this new generation but from the reveals as early as February 3D seemed to not be a priority anymore. I have been playing BF4 and Killzone SF all weekend and can only imagine how great they would be in 3D..
No thank you. Looks like it would strain the wrists when playing for more than 15 minutes.
Fair enough interpretation outlining the potential. I remember picking up my 360 and PS3 at launch and they both have come a really long way through updates and added features. I can only imagine the improvements that will come with such forward looking design going into the making of the PS4.
I was not sure what Trueaudio was all about but found this article:

Interesting in that it does not use GPU or CPU calculations for the audio processing effects, they are done on dedicated audio cores built in the chip.
Keepin it classy Shu.
Super excited for this game. Interesting concept, great graphics, and of course it is free!
Lot of articles about this game lately. I figure I'll give it a try for myself since it is free. I do like the fact that the game is ported with max settings but I do not believe it is pushing too hard compared to a game like Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3.
Saw this in another article 1TB hybrid drive for $108

Interesting read. Did not know he pioneered the modern form of playtesting. Also did not know the cultural influence of the way studios work was so significant. I do appreciate Sony taking a global approach lately and it shows with the products and software being released.
Very impressive. I don't mind a delay to make a game better and add polish, and DC looks more beautiful every time we see it.
I got really excited until I realized this was not the American PS plus. NA gets great games but not Europe gets a way better selection.
I suppose is great that they are porting Flower and Journey to PS4 but I feel it is unecessary. Both games are beautiful on the PS3. I would prefer the developers create a new experience rather than spending time and resources to release the same game at higher resolutions.
It was a nice treat to have Flower for free. I fired it up last weekend and began enjoying it all over again. Now if we could have Journey remastered that would be amazing. Journey is one of my all time favorites of last generation and replaying it never gets old. I do hope thatgamecompany is working a new experience as I understand another studio is doing these ports.
