I think the backlash is justified. I am black myself and I know changing Ciri's race actually greatly affects the overall lore of the story. Also, the Witcher's lore is also very strongly Slavic influenced. Changing Ciri's race is comparable to making Black Panther (T'Chala) a white man, as the characters aren't race-neutral.

Crackdown 3 is likely being moved to Feb 28th 2019 as to not be released on the same day as Days Gone and Metro: Exodus. Crackdown 3 is hopefully done core development and should be mainly under going bug testing and optimize currently.
How was it not blatantly obvious BF V's Battlefront 2 influenced progression system was imbalanced? Do developers just stick ideas into their games without discussing them?
I think Forza shouldn't be released every year. Forza 7 got outperformed by Forza Horizon 3. Also Forza Horizon 3 had impressive legs even after Forza 7 released last year. Playground and Turn 10 should do non-Forza (and even non-racing) games while providing long term sport for Forza games released every few years or so.
Gameplay>Story>Graphics
Strong gameplay and story are what keep me playing through the single players of games. Games with strong visuals can woo me. However, the shock,awe and immersive factors of strong to amazing visuals can’t keep playing unless the gameplay and/or story are to my standards. I need to enjoy either the gameplay or the story of game, otherwise I will likely not finish it.
I bought BF 2 during an Xbox Live sake for $13 CAD. I played the campaign for 2 hrs before deciding to refund the game. BF 2’s campaign has the same dull pseudo-tutorial level design as Battlefield 1 (missions take place on recycled MP maps). Battlefront 2 also crashed on me twice and had unusually long load times for a non-rpg.

As much as I love Uncharted 2 it did not revolutionize storytelling in games. However, I believe UC 2 mastered the art of the set piece.
I wonder if these hiring are for “Fable 4” or potentially another project as the second playground studio was set up years ago now. Maybe the original playground studio is also moving away from biannual racing releases.
I actually liked Perfect Dark Zero(I still sometimes pop in rare replay to shoot bots ). I think Perfect Dark Zero gets hate simply because it was a disappointment; I don’t see it as a terrible game it just not as good (for its time) as its predecessor. I did a full play through of PDZ in 2015, the game is dated but the objective based level design and mp with bots is something that shooters today have largely abandoned.

Most likely no. Telltale as a studio doesn't have much value to be bought, they likely have lots of debit, no prestigious tech and lack big original IPs, plus a marginal amount of staff.
I’m certain Telltale didn’t own any significance IPs the studio relied on licensing.
I once heard but that Telltale’s financial issues are due to them paying for so many licenses. Telltale may have been better of making Moreno original properties, but it likely too late now. Also, Telltale got a a lot of free passes on the technical performance of their games.

The dated rough graphics should be expected. Isn’t Fallout 76 built off of Fallout 4 assets? Fallout 4 was all around dated looking with poor textures,weak models, bad animation,etc when it released 3 years ago.
