When I played through the Witcher 3 it took me 2.5 months with average play sessions of 2-3 hrs daily. Oddly, my playtime counter was bugged, as my Xbox One believed I made it to Skellige in only 3 hrs...
No, Microsoft owns Ori.
I think the digital edition PS5 is being sold at a loss. Therefore, Sony allocated more resources to manufacturing the standard PS5. The lack of disc-drive isn’t enough to make the disc-less PS5 $100 dollars cheaper than its standard counterpart.
I put about 800 hrs into Halo 5 slayer as well. I was able to maintain Diamond rank in Halo 5 for about 2.5 years.
Starcraft, Halo and Gears of War.....1000s of hrs in each series...
J.K Rowling is extremely rich. Therefore, she doesn't care if her comments offended a few very vocal, woke people.
I’m kind of wondering why the Demon’s Souls remake isn’t cross-gen too, unless it has features that require an SSD. Horizon and Spider-Man are bigger franchises, that are also more accessible to general gamers than Demon’s Souls.
This site is full of hypocrites.
The two games in questions most likely started development as PS4 titles and were simply enhanced and ported to the PS5.
The Series S is designed to run 1080-1440p games at 60 FPS. The Series S has a faster and all around better CPU than the One X. The One X has more GPU teraflops and a larger ram pool than Series S. The Series S, however, has taster more ram and a more advanced, efficient GPU than the One X.
The Series S should offer greater overall performance than the One X when targeting 1080p to 1440p resolutions. But, I believe the Series S should have had stronger GPU and more ram. ...
I greatly admire the Metroid Prime Trilogy. However, I don’t think Metroid is a big enough seller to be considered part of the “Nintendo Trinity”. Mario, Pokémon and Zelda sell way more and are more consistently released than Metroid.
I’m certain overtime, Series S will see some scaling back of graphical assets when compared to the Series X [and PS5]. The more powerful consoles will run games at “high to ultra settings”. Whilst the Series may have it graphical settings scaled back up “low to medium” due to ram and GPU limitations.
I have seen reports that the new switch will have improved Joy-cons. I don’t see why Nintendo would invest in developing a mid-gen hardware refresh that would “magically” be 4k capable.
Nintendo’s own games don’t focus on advanced graphics. The company’s titles don’t require powerful hardware. Nintendo makes consoles based on the demands of their own titles. They don’t focus on 3rd parties and haven’t made a console would comparable specs to their competitors in almost 20 ...
People are seriously believing the Nintendo will be able to produce a 4k capable switch with our current technology? The PS5 and Xbox Series X are 4k capable due to them having a large ram pool, high clock speed GPUs and CPUs. Both the Series X and PS5 are far larger than a Switch.
The point of disc-less consoles is to push consumers towards buying from the platform specific store. Microsoft takes a 30% cut of all digital purchases made on the Xbox Live Market Place.
I think launching the series S without a disc drive was an oversight. I have a 4k tv and lots of physical games. Therefore, despite the steep $599 Canadian price, I would personally choose the Series X. The larger SSD on series X is also a major factor to consider.
I assume the backwards compatibility program will resume after the Series X launches. I personally want Timesplitters 2 and its sequel Future Perfect added to BC.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is one of the most poorly thought out follow-up titles I have ever seen. Fans want a sequel and Ubisoft, instead makes a prequel? Beyond Good and Evil didn’t even sell that well and was released over 15 years ago. Ubisoft is obsessed with open-world games. A simple, smaller scale, Zelda -Esque, sequel to Beyond Good and Evil, could’ve been produced years ago without a massive budget and associated financial risks.
What treatment? Sega should repackage 3 old sonic games, enhance the games with a resolution bump and sell said games at an AAA price for a limited time ?
You need to keep in mind Bethesda Studios (and Zenimax Media) had multiple IPs and larger overall infrastructure than Lucas Arts. The Bethesda gaming division was composed of 8 studios, some of which are fairly large (other where essentially support studios).
