The Mario All Stars collection is doesn’t seem like fan service at all, it’s a cash grab. Rare Replay included far more games. The Spyro and Crash Trilogies had far more graphical and audio enhancements than Mario 3D All Stars. Also Rare Replay, Spyro Reignited, and Crash N’Sane trilogy were not priced as AAA titles, despite likely costing more to produce than Mario 3D All Stars.
I recently bought a switch mainly for Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Mario Odyssey and Smash Bros: Ultimate. Unfortunately Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 were announced far to early. Bayonetta 3 hasn’t shown any gameplay 3 years after announcement. And Metroid Prime 4 had its development restarted, and nothing has been shown despite the game having a 1.5 years of development.
Today’s Nintendo announcements come off as “nickel and dimeing”. The Mario games are all old to very old with few or no graphical enhancements. No other company could sell HD ports with such leisure.
The 4 billion dollar asking price of Warner’s gaming division was too high.

Yes racist characters are bad. However, I’m sick of character being praised for being simply being played by a minority or woman. I also find the the bizarre diversity casting in some shows to be beyond ridiculous. For example their is a British series set in medieval England with black actors casted as medieval Anglo-Saxons....
I am black also and I’m sick of the recent woke obsession with race. Sure diversity is good. But we need focusing on the overall quality of characters not there race. I’m not fond of the current trend of diversity casting and the race swapping of characters.
If a non-Microsoft developer had delayed a game after a weak showing they would be praised for their actions. It seems the double standards of this website’s users now not only apply to metacritic, review scores and sales, but also delays as well.
Certain Affinity development support for Halo Infinite was in place before the delay.
“Today we’re proud to reveal Certain Affinity’s partnership with 343 Industries on Halo Infinite. Our team has been working closely with 343 since December of last year, continuing a long history of collaboration between the two studios working on multiple Halo titles dating back to 2006.”
My 2nd most anticipated PS5 title.
Pretty weak month.
Certain Affinity has been a development partner of the Halo series since Halo 2. They’ve always generally been a support studio.
Clickbait title.
Microsoft owned the Outer Worlds when it launched.
Imagine how much Microsoft would have to pay for Cyberpunk on Gamepass day-one.
I'm not understanding the math behind putting big 3rd party titles into Gamepass at launch. Xbox makes most of its money from licensing fees and Xbox Live. 3rd parties selling less games on Xbox would decrease overall revenue. Gamepass isn't profitable enough to make up for revenue lost from licensing fees.
17% off isn’t too impressive of a sale. Some of the games on sale are over a year old. Other game companies (including Sony and Microsoft) have sales of 20-50% + off and their games have permanent price drops.
Battletoads (2020) has 3 difficulty settings from easiest to hardest which are: tadpole, toad and battletoad. Apparently, toad is challenging for the most part. Whilst, the battletoad difficulty is meant to emulate the challenge of the older titles in the series. Lastly, tadpole is easy mode.
The reviews on metacritic are mixed ( https://www.metacritic.com/... I watched Skillup and ACG’s reviews of Battletoads (2020), a common complaint was that the game was short. I may give it a try via Gamepass later this month.
Anyone else remember the flappy bird iPhones, lol ?
And? Bayonetta 3 hasn’t had a gameplay trailer since it’s announcement. Platinum Games is again taking on many projects at once. The studio is possibly over stretching its resources and staff. So it makes sense for fans to be concerned about Bayonetta 3.
