No, most new full priced videogames in Canada are 75.99 or 79.99 before taxes(which vary by province).
Voice actors are becoming useless, and aren't a valuable part of the industry?
Call of Duty has never really been a competitive shooter, the combat and design of the game (specially the more recent games) focuses on randomness.
He is not, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't writing Halo 6.
It is not a new IP.
In Canada games are 90 dollars (after taxes), I'm waiting for sales and I got too much backlog already.
I played it;Tropical Freeze is a fun and challenging game.
I watched first impressions of the beta (demo), most were negative. From watching mp gameplay, Infinite Warfare, looks like it recycles a lot of assets from BLOPS 2 and 3.
@deafdani, Kotaku interviews with unnamed devs, read like they're pulled out of someone's ass.
It's the tried and true Kotaku tactic, an unamed dev or company, told me such and such......
I don't think the Nintendo Switch is meant to compete with Pro and Scorpio, it certainly won't have comparable specs. Heck if the leaked specs are true, the NX isn't even on par with the vanilla versions of the PS4 and XB1. Nintendo to me looks like they want to merge their handheld and home console generations, hopefully they don't mess it up.
This doesn't sound right to me, Halo 4 and 5 were criticized for using external media to develop the game's story. Halo Wars 2 is essentially external media to Halo 6. Many of the buyers of Halo 6 likely won't get Halo Wars 2 since it is an RTS.
If Infinite Warfare sells way less than Advanced Warfare ( ignoring BLOPS 3), then Activision may take a break with franchise( like what Ubisoft did after Assassin Creed Syndicate under-performed compared to Unity.)
The leaked specs (assuming they're true), indicate the Switch isn't that powerful, but impressive for a portable console.
Yes Bethesda does have a right to not allow early reviews. However, lack of early reviews is completely anti-consumer, then you also have to consider Bethesda's history of buggy, glitchy games with optimizion issues.
The COD games have become based around randomness, skill gap compressions and MTs. I highly doubt activision would ever allow the perks, kill streaks, attachments and rigs, etc to be decreased since they generate MTs.
The third party Nintendo partners are likely taking a low risk approach with the Nintendo Switch and not making strong commitment to the console yet. If their ports don't sell well on the console, third parties will jump ship like they did with the Wii U.
Both Bethesda and From Soft, both release unoptimized games that get less flak for technical issues than titles developed by other studios. I like games from both Bethesda and From Soft, but both companies should be more openly criticized for the bugs (Bethesda) and performance issues( Bethesda and From Soft) in their games.
Off topic: Thisgengaming ads are out of control, can't even read the article on mobile. There are so many ads, to the point my web browser crashes....
Redemption is not a sequel to Revolver. Red Red Redemption is essentially a reboot and spiritual successor to Revolver, by having significantly different gameplay and an entirely new story. Also, John is modeled after the character from Revolver.
Of course it has the largest "Competitive" scene, COD just outsells all the other shooters. CODs competitive scene is due to its popularity not the design of the game.
