Since Crytek lost its partnerships with EA and MS, the company has been on rocky legs. Crytek's AAA output is low, they are notorious for bloating budgets of their games, and to make thing worse Cryengine doesn't appear to have great adoption rates. I think EA games owns Crysis, I doubt the company has much interest in the IP anymore.
Of course Nolan North wants to do another Uncharted, another game in the series would mean another big fat check for him.
It's pretty much the exact same game on the vanilla and pro versions of the PS4.
Battlefield, Counterstrike, Overwatch, and Rock League started as mp only IPs.
It will probably get about 2/3rds the sales of halo 5.
Microsoft was involved in Gears and Halo since their early development. Bungie was owned by MS when Halo released. As for Gears, you can't steal an IP by paying 10s of millions of dollars for it.
It's not that the game's mp is too hard, Gears 4(and Halo 5), have large skill caps, with no skill cap compression. The console fps space has transitioned towards favoring games with skill cap compression, that allows players to pick a play style instead of relying on map control, power weapon control, teamplay, gun skill and reactive character movement.
When Crackdown 3 releases it will likely come with both the older games.
MS has discussed OG Xbox backwards compatibility. Not sure whether it would be native or require translation like 360, since both OG XB and XB1 are X-86.
Easy, don't have Brian Reed write the story.
@Mikefizzled
No, the game was funded and owned by Microsoft.
I played the 30 min trial of ReCore, gameplay is was fun, and I enjoyed the platforming. However, despite likely the characters designs, the graphics are simply well below from what I expected of a first party XB1 game (or even an 8th gen multiplat). ReCore need more dev time and should of been delayed.
True, but Crytek should be more supportive of the franchise after they bought and later shutdown free radical.
I would personally like Perfect Dark and Timesplitters (or atleast have TS 4 released) to be rebooted.
Nintendo should of dropped the price below the xbox 1 base console, way back in early 2015. There was period when Wii U sales spiked due to Smash Bros and Mario Kart. However the price, lack of hard hitting new releases and lack of marketing allowed the console to crash back down after Splatoon was released.
32 gigs of storage is gonna kill the potential of digital games on the system.
If I wanted to play (and pay for)different characters form the ones currently available; it would either be MS Xbox guest characters or classic gears characters. Not some random modern age rappers that I have never heard of before Gears 4 used the out of place hip-hop in it's trailer.Gears 4 has a very weak character selection compared to previous gears games . Also there are the out of place "day of the dead" "colorblasted" and zombie skins.
Sever...
EA very likely does not want to invest much into Titanfall, since they don't own the IP. Apparently one of the reasons why Titanfall 1 was Xbox and PC only was because EA refused to fully fund and advertise the game. Hopefully Respawn can find another partner in the future.
Top 3 for me MW1, MW2 and black ops 2
I can't believe a remaster( PC port) of a 5 year old game is 60 bucks.....
