It is rather disappointing that Sea of Thieves can receive worse reception than Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive, yet still outsells the previously mentioned objectively higher quality games.

2019, hopefully early to mid next year.

Th graphics are scaled back, the framerate is 30 FPS and resolution are lower. So how were no compromises made ?

I don't believe the rumors of Halo Infinite launching without MP. Just because the newest Halo maybe open-world doesn't mean the mp will not be arena-focused.

When playing The Last of Us you (the player) don’t kill either Sarah or Sam. Besides Sam, Sarah and Ellie,I don’t recall any other children being in the game.

I have bought, played and enjoyed many games with female leads. However, the BF V reveal rubbed me wrong due to its ridiculous depiction of woman and world war 2.

What was so wrong with Gears 5 ?

No, Remedy doesn't own Quantum Break. Control could be considered a spiritual successor to Quantum Break, however the game bares similarities to Remedy's other stylized shooters.

I'm certain the game was confirmed for Xbox One and X + Windows 10. The next Xbox will most likely be backwards compatible with all the other Xboxes.

No, the future of Xbox will be determined by it exsiting franchises (including Gears of War) and the new projects that the newly acquired studios do. I actually want new ips from MS to have success comparable to Gears of War (e.g. sell, 3, 4 to 6 million + copies).

Crytek nearly went bankrupt because they’re a poorly managed bloated company. As soon as MS (and EA) stopped funding Crytek’s projects the company started having financial problems.

The 5 new developers make you refer to the fact that playground is two studios not one.

DLaLa Studios + Rare

My Predications
1. Playground "Studio 1" - Forza Horizon subseries
2. Playground "Studio 2"- Open World RPG (Likely Fable)
3. Ninja Theory- AA to AAA Single player games.
4. Undead Labs- Either more State of Decay games or AA titles
5. Compulsion Games - Indie to AA games
6. The Initiative- Big AAA games

Aside: I hope to see the new studios work on new IPs and old/classic series.

Yup and the fact that the game is coming in about a year is also concerning due to nothing of it being shown.

“If you can’t beat em, buy em”? I don’t think MS was competing with the studios it acquired.

MS's low number of exclusives/ console exclusives will continue into 2019,however, I see improvement with Crackdown 3 (not too confident in this title) Gears 5, Battletoads, Ori 2 and maybe Halo Infinite launching next year. Provided their studios are well managed, MS should be able to produce quality games with much higher frequency now due to their larger number of studios. However, I still think Rare and Undead Labs need some restructuring to live up to their potential.

Ninja theory can do great on a AA budget, however the studio has to enlarge to function as AAA studio.

EA announced a new Star Wars game and showed nothing for it which is very concerning.

Terrible conference, if you suffer from insomnia, the EA's E3 2018 conference may cure it.
