I played a full season and never got a decent player out of it. I didn't expect to get to the playoffs in the first season...
No, I have to disagree, when playing NBA 2k12 I had a very good player by the end of the season, by the end of the second season I had a great player and a playoff run.
NBA 2k14, by the end of the first season I had a player that was not much better than the player I started with...
VC killed the game for me. Players don't earn enough VC to up a character's skill level in My Player. It would take several seasons of playing to get a great character.
Players have to earn VC outside the game OR purchase them.
Like TimeSkipLuffy, I hope they will allow any external hard-drive to work.
Right now,I don't have that many games, but once Games With Gold kicks in, I will download every game that is offered...
Think I will go over to Amazon.com and start looking for a 1tb or more 3.0 external HD...
I can make assumptions also...
1) Microsoft plans on selling in China, I doubt the Chinese Government would allow the Kinect (the camera) to be sold. Microsoft is afraid of a backlash is they sold a Kinectless XBO in China and not in the rest of the world.
2) just like the PSeye, once Microsoft announces their Alternate Reality Glasses that will work with the Kinect, the Kinect will start selling better. Sony will sell a lot of cameras once their VR he...
I would just about bet most of those hours are weekend hours. 22 hours is part-time job hours.
Still, better to play games to stimulate the mind than passively watching TV.
Yes! I hope they release a Gen-8 Ping Pong title soon. /s
...ahhh, now I see why VGChartz is frowned upon. They are showing, right now, 31m sold.
Global as of May 3
Grand Theft Auto V (PS3) - 17,332,571
Grand Theft Auto V (X360) - 13,760,722
I know this web site is not great with their numbers, but there is something that shows why XBO is not considered doing so well:
PS3 in 2011 - 3.9m
PS3 in 2012 - 3.8m
PS3 in 2013 - 3.0m
PS4 in 2014 - 3.3m
360 in 2011 - 3.2m
360 in 2012 - 2.6m
360 in 2013 - 2.1m
XBO in 2014 - 1.5m
Whereas Sony has remained constant, Microsoft has declined every year, selling 1/2 if what they did in 20...
This is exactly what I have been thinking. Why release a PS5 when all you need to have is a controller and a way to capture the stream from the server.
... ahhh, the power of the cloud.
LOL... I am getting disagrees on a question being asked.
@JeffGUNZ
OH, don't get me wrong, I think the Microsoft exclusives are great, thus the last sentence in the post saying that maybe Microsoft hopes, with a preceived weaker system at the same price, the games being shown at E3 will make a difference.
Rentals with DRM, gotta make sure the user still has Xbox Live afterall.
"We're back to verification DRM, at least to some degree."
That is correct, the same as Sony.
Both systems will check to see if you are up to date on your subscription before allowing the game to start up... I guess. I don't have PS4 so I am not sure what happens if you don't have internet connection.
I have thought about buying it, and the Halo title also... glad I have not yet.
...So, it is a "subscription model" but Microsoft will only offer the games for a limited two week period much like they do now, whereas PS+ a new subscriber could still pick up Resogun for free. Am I correct in how I am reading this?
To be honest, I am not sure why an informed gamer would. It has been shown, through Multiplatform Games, that the PS4 is a stronger system. Now that the XBO is at the same price with no additional hardware to make it unique... Oh, well, maybe Microsoft has hope that the games being shown at E3 will make XBO more appealing than the PS4.
I think all businesses work this way. I havn't seen one yet that is not in business to make money.
It does seem that way. I guess Microsoft hopes the games they will announce at E3 will show the XBO is the better option.
Yep, me too. I believed them when we were told the Kinect was essential to the XBO... but, I guess that was just PR bull poop.
Still, this has to be a positive move for all gamers.
Ummmm.... Isn't Playstation Now running in the Cloud? Seems like if Sony can do cloud processing than Microsoft should be able to also.
