From my understanding, this is what happened. When Respawn started on the game the 360 was the best seller, so they assumed the One would be also... Plus, Microsoft was talking up what they had planned, but Sony was keeping mum... Plus, M$ had the "cloud" in place and $ony was not quite ready... I have not read anything that suggests money changed hands, but with EA's rep, I would be surprised if it did not.
Not to worry, PS4 fans, like Mass Effect, it will no...
I would like to give the game a try, but I no longer have my 360... so it will need to be released for 8-gen before I get to play it... so, I doubt I will ever get to play it.
Sounds right up my alley. I like games that you have to figure out... but I grew up playing games like Myst, Zork, and Hitchhikers Guide... so, yeah, I am very interested in this game.
Good, I am getting tired of shooters. Loved LA Noire, so I am hoping this one is more thinking and less trigger.
Yeah, digital DL for me too.
DriveClub looks like it will be a great game. TheOrder: 1886 isn't doing anything for me, looks like a bland shoot from cover game. Uncharted four should be awesome. Deep Down also doesn't seem that great of a game, thus far, but it is using a new game engine, so it might just turn out to be the most "nextGen" of the releases. Then there is inFAMOUS... This should be a system seller, not that Sony needs a system seller for this generation.
"It's based on a survey asked to 45.000 people so it's not a big deal."
LOL, the Gallop Polls, which predict presidential elections usually survey less than 4,000 people. So, yeah, 45,000 people is a pretty big deal.
Actually, it looks Statistically Valid: http://productoftheyearusa....
"Our unique and independent methodology is what separates us from any other award. Here are a few reasons why you can count on POY being more credible:

"[Product of the Year]has actually been around for close to three decades now, though it’s only had a U.S. presence for six years." "The winners will appear on the cover of Parade magazine..."
So, this poll has been ongoing for 30 years but only in the US for six? Where was it before the US?
Anyway, with all the XBO negativity on the 'net, I am surprised to see this award given to XBO. Guess that just shows the internet doesn't...
"Ok I've done some thinking and sorta agree with the people who say Titan will sell more on 360. "
I am not so sure. If you look at Amazon "best sellers in Video Games", Titan Fall for the XBO is at #6, The XBO Bundle is at #8, and the 360 version is at #99.
It seems like the game might just be a XBO hit if the pre-orders remain like they are.
That is a huge statement!
"...more stylized...?"
That must be it.
Ryse looks the best to me, with The Order coming in a close second. With more development time, the Order will be the best. Infamous looks a little strange to me for some reason, more mannequin looking.
Still, those three are all amazing looking. The art of computer just keep getting better and better.
This is an example of Microsoft waiting too long to court the Indies. Sony jumped into the ring well before the launch of the PS4.
Still, I am not into the indie scene, so I am not bothered that these games will come later to my XBO... but it does seem Microsoft has done nothing but play catch up this Gen.
Well, it looks like I am going to have to hook my 360 back up so I can play South Park.
Well, I have to say that most comparison videos I have not seen that much of a difference, but WOW, PS4 just blows XBO out of the water with this one. An amazing difference.
I am not saying XBO looks bad, because it looks pretty darned good, but PS4 clearly has the best looking graphics.
Also, from what I have read and what little I understand about computers these days, there is no way XBO will be able to compete. Yeah, I know, you all have been saying th...
I think what they are tying to spin is that XBO owners are buying more software than PS4 owners, even though PS4 is kicking their butts.
I didn't see "oz" charts, but according to Global charts the PS4 is selling 2.2 games per unit, whereas the XBO is selling 2.6 games per unit.
Units - PS4 = 5046859, XBO = 3386476, a 32% variance in PS4 favor.
Games - PS4 = 10859657, XBO = 8722982, Adjusted on a per unit basis, the XBO is selling 16% mo...
According to their financials the Entertainment Division is making a profit... They don't specifically breakout the Xbox from the rest of the division, but still "The Entertainment and Devices Division saw profits grow to $848 million for the full fiscal year. This is up from $380 million a year ago. Microsoft also shipped 1 million Xbox 360's in the quarter, which is down from 1.1 million a year ago. Xbox Live revenue grew 20 percent in the quarter."
It would be a masterpiece if that damn elevator moved a little faster...
Not one worth anything, it has problems running old games like Civ iv... So, not an option for me.
