...and a nerfed NHL game...
Oh boy, MJ and I will be the only 99 rated players on the court!
Yeah, I have to agree with this. I am waiting to see what people really think of the game before I decide to pick it up or not... also, I am a solo player, don't get into PvP gaming, so that aspect holds no positives for me at all.
Still, a 10 hour straight runthough would take me much longer because I try to play every side mission possible to get more enjoyment out of a game.
Story is 9-10 hours according to: http://n4g.com/news/1582111...
... it is the multiplayer aspect that people see to want anyway. Call of Duty is not about the story, but about the multiplayer. So, it seems Destiny is following the same course, short on story, long on competitive MP.
"So if you’re a fan of the single-player games, Destiny may not hold much interest for you."
That is me and why I am not going to be playing the game today... Once I know more about the game, I might change my mind, but for now it is a "no buy" for me.
Well, if it makes you feel better, the 360 was my main gaming system of that generation and yes, the RROD is the first thing I thought of. It happened to me twice (but Microsoft sent me two new systems to replace them).
I am wondering the same thing. I did eventually purchase one after the price dropped to under $100. The grand-kids enjoyed it, but I didn't get much out of it.
I have to say, I do like using the voice controls on Kinect 2.0, but even with that, while gaming in a room with my wife on the phone, I have to turn the Kinect off or it tries to interpret her talking into commands.
This is an exciting time for gaming. I wonder if anyone will announce how many copies were downloaded vs physical copies purchased...
Of course, this also means DRM is in place or they wouldn't be able to set the game to not play until a specific time and date...
Good with the bad, I suppose.
Seventh Generation memories... Blue Ray in PS3 killing HD-DVD (I know people who bought PS3 because it was cheaper than a stright out B-ray player). Inovative motion controls from Ninteno, the feeling of the Fishing Demo for Zelda, it was an amazing experence at first. Microsoft's RROD... and Rock Band.
...so, the author says PS+ is better because you are able to play the games on the VITA... I must admit, remote play does sound pretty damn cool. I don't have a VITA so I am not sure how good it really is.
Yep... I skip those parts of the game to get back to playing basketball anyway.
Week? More like year.
The author says "As well as Kinect titles (ha!), the Xbox One’s exclusive line-up is based mainly around first-person shooters and multiplayer-driven action titles, with familiar faces making up a substantial degree of the choice offerings... Microsoft is pushing the tiresome bombast of multiplayer action – Sony are pushing innovation, incredible indie, and immersive single-player campaigns."
...but, ignores games like Sunset Overdrive, which do break the mold the...
September for me will be Forza Hroizons 2 and Shadow of Mordor… and maybe HNL 15, have not made up my mind on that one. I may just get EA Access and play it next year, and enjoy other EA games instead.
October will be an NBA game, letting the reviews dictate which I get, but leaning towards NBA 2k15.
November will be Halo, I guess. I played the first one and about half of the second… but I am not into multiplayer competitive gaming, so I have to know m...
Well, I guess I will use my fifth and final bubble on this one...
For me, it is not AAA=Great Game... there are some real stinkers out there.
It is more AAA = More indepth game. A game you can really sink your teeth into. Not a Resogun where you fly around on the outside of a tube and shoot, which to me is a modern day Defender.
Even though Watch Dogs didn't get great reviews, it is still a deep game that very few indie developers h...
I may be misinformed, while I do get on this site and others, I don't read every article, so I do miss out some information...
But, Devolver Digital and Adam Broyes sure did miss the weeds called Basement Crawl and Tiny Brains.
Still, it does seem there are more games with good ratings than bad ones.
Yeah, I know, this post is more for me because it doesn’t matter to others what I think… but, I typed this up so I thought I would post it anway:
FIFA 15 – Not a soccer fan, not interested
NHL 15 – However, I am a hockey fan and need to have a good current gen game, all I have is last gen. The question for myself is to purchase, or wait a year and get EA Access… hmmmm, how badly do I want this game?
SIMS – ha, never liked the game eve...
OK, not a programer, or a hardware person... what does this mean?
"...we have seen scenarios where a single CPU core was fully loaded just by issuing draw-calls on Xbox One (and that's surely on the 'mono' driver with several fast-path calls utilised)."
Does it mean that there is a "duel" driver on the Xbox One that wasn't used and that would improve performance?
Yeah, you are correct, sites like N4G do a good job of weeding out the undesirable (to me at least) indies or for that matter, AAA games. Some of those are trash also.
Good, lineup complete.. it will not be long before the game is released and we can do more than look forward to knowing what cars are included.
