Hmmmm, not only does the "premium" bundle have Kinect and a game, it looks like it has a year of Gold included...
It will not take much for PS4 to "win E3". They are already considered the "best video game brand" in the world, just look at those sale numbers...
But, if they want to give it to Microsoft, I can't think of anything other than what the article relates.
Really, this E3 is not about Sony, it is about Microsoft, they will either blow it out of the water or sink to its depths.
Yeah, that surprised me. In the USA the sales for systems have been fairly close, but not the last week of May... PS4 gave XBO a shellacking.
Maybe the numbers have something to do with XBO's price drop soon? I don't know, just guessing.
To win E3, Microsoft has to have five surprises that no one sees coming... not a bunch of remakes and sequels.
I am more excited about learning more about Quantum Break than anything on that list.
I only got to play the first couple of minutes, still in the stadium because work has got me bogged down... but, my question is: Is the game doing so well because there just isn't that many quality games out right now or because people are truly enjoying the game?
The reviews were very mixed on this title... makes me wonder if it would have sold so well if it were released with the expected volume of games coming out this holiday season...
Still, c...
From what I gathered from the IGN review.. the game is very linear. The reviewer didn’t care for the constraints placed on the player. She also thought the puzzles were too easy and she noted that even if you failed to solve the puzzle correctly, it didn’t affect the outcome of the game.
So, final word is: "Console-wise, we feel confident in recommending both Xbox One and PS4 versions, but go for the latter if you have your choice of consoles: it's effectively an additional sheen of polish at no extra cost."

“We have to rigorously pursue install base numbers” Harai told reporters".... Hmmmm, "All your base are belong to us"?
That damn dumptruck drove me crazy, trying to get it to slide into things was hard for me...
.... Can't slam your way to the front: "...in multiplayer matches your throttle will be temporarily restricted if you drive too aggressively."
Rumor: Devil May Cry will be a XBO exclusive. Capcom was impressed with the Dead Rising 3 sales and has entered into another agreement with MS, this time for Devil May Cry.
According to online store: "Game description: Free Version contains: a selection of events including a hole from every course."
If you want to play a full course, you gotta pay. So, they just converted the game to a "free to play" model that charges for the courses...
To me, this is the game changer between the systems. Not graphics, which I personally can't tell the difference between, but the streaming of games.
If Sony gets this to work, there will be no more consoles, Sony will just start including controllers with their TVs and you can play any game at any time as a rental. Seems the future really is in the cloud.
As I said below, I guess I just don't understand.
Seems to me game streaming works like this: Press a button, that button press it sent to server, Server processes what that button press means-updates the graphics-proccess the data-and sends it to user.
The processing has to be done somewhere, I just assumed it was being done on the server... errr, I mean the Cloud.
So, I don't see a lot of difference between processing an e...
@MysticStrummer
I have to admit, I am not the most tech savy person in the world... but, doesn't the game have to go through processing before its results are streamed to the user?
I guess I just don't fully understand what PS-Now is doing.
Yeah, the discounts excite me. I "gameflied" Forza a while back and enjoyed the game... but decided it was not a $60 game for me as I am just a casual player and never expect to excel at the game... but, it is gets something like a 75% discount I would gladly pay $15 for the game!
"I am sure Sony has [their] own cloud tech in development but they are not making a song and dance about it. "
Playstation Now... all processing in the cloud, streaming results to the PS4.
I think there is a song and a dance to go with it :)
Wow... I didn't notice that fine print. Wonder if the game is in bad shape at this point so they used last year's game?
