Loved this game "back in the day"... looks like it might still be a worthwhile purchase.
I got stuck at one point because I didn't know what a Rastafarian was. I was told to look for a Rastafarian and it took me a little while, well, a long while, to figure out it was a dude with dreds...
Yeah, no quick google to find answers in 1993.
...sigh... I am sorry, but most indie games I just don't get enjoyment out of. While this means PS4 has twice the developers, it also means they will have twice the crap released to the system.
Still, it should also mean twice the gems being released also, but I find it hard to rummage through the trash trying to find that one nugget of gold hiding behind the rotten lettuce.
Right now, Horizons only for me...
...and the unlisted NHL 15...
Too many racing games! I don't know which one to get.
You sir, may be correct. I am sure Sony will make a PS5, they would be foolish to throw money away. But, as soon as they announced PS Now I could foresee a future where every TV included it. No hard drive needed, no extra box, and no additional cables to the TV. Just include a controller and let it stream.
How many casuals would pay $400 extra to play games when they can do so with the equipment they have? ...of course, that brings to question how big is the casual mar...
Yep, just as I thought. PS Now is the Sony future. Imagine, you purchase a TV and it comes with a controller. You can then purchase a game that resides in the cloud that streams right to your TV. Everyone that buys a TV will have access to the games, talk about enhancing the market, that would do it big time.
I stopped playing at TW12 also, the game just wasn't that much fun anymore. This game doesn't look like it will do that much for me. But, I will still buy it, afterall, if I can enjoy PowerStar Golf, I am sure I can enjoy a more realistic game.
I am so ready to get back into GTA. I have not played since I bought the XBO and gave my 360 to my oldest grand-daughter (sans GTA, I think 12 is too young for it, but I think her daddy plays it some).
Just can't make up my mind on this title. I think the lack of a career mode will hurt it, since that is why I played EA's golf game.
I just looked at the link you provided, that is an interview from March about what they are targeting, not about what they are achieving at release.
...ahhh, so a true gamer doesn't care about the quality of a game, only that there is a game to play... got it.
I do own a couple of indie titles, they can be a massive amount of fun, but most them them just don't do anything for me.
Sounds interesting... I will wait to see what others say. Don't plan on joining in on the demo that way others can work out the bugs :)
I am the same color...
About darned time!
"This is a big reason a lot of people are against digital. "
Yep, DRM sucks. I still want to go all digital this gen, so I hope this will be quicly fixed.
Yes, Sony has done a bang-up-job with Marketing on this one.
>>"When a set dies, I switch them out, I don't have to stop gaming to charge the controller"
>"Don't you have to stop gaming to change the controller batteries?"
Well, yes, for a couple of minutes... not for a couple of hours to recharge a controller.
Well, #3 is subjective. Sure, my XBO controller uses AA batteries. I have several sets of batteries in a charger. When a set dies, I switch them out, I don't have to stop gaming to charge the controller.
I personally like the XBO controller's feel better, also... like I said, subjective not fact.
Wow... No one reads the articles... It is a compare/contrast article triggered by a thread found with that title (thus, the title of the article).
In the end, there is a conclusion, well, really an opinion:
“In a nutshell, as long as there’s reasonable balance, and value for money from the original purchase, then there’s certainly room and an acceptance for DLC extras. So in the case of the “Please Destiny let us use real money” thread then sure, the...
@Sayburr Hey its better than playing nothing.
Yep, you got a great point there. I have purchased a couple of indies... Vaiant Hearts is one and it is GREAT... but, that is one of those gems.
