I was one of those who thought Microsoft would keep the Kinect connected, but alas, it seems I was very much wrong.
I guess Microsoft saying the Kinect was essential to the Xbox Experence was just PR crap. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by it though.
Well, there were a lot of people post on here and other sites that they would buy a XBO if the Kinect was removed... so there you go... start ordering!
It does look like you get the "loot" when buying the gift card for Xbox Live or the download for PS4.
Well, from those choices I would say: The Hardcore Casual. I played NBA 2k12 up until buying a XBO, I was expecting to play NBA 2k14 just as much, but was disappointed with the server issues and not being able to play the game.
So, yeah, I will often buy a game and play it to death and don't buy a lot of games per year, maybe two or three as the most.
Fine prints says: "This is a purchase of Xbox LIVE currency. You may redeem the currency for the content shown or for other"
So, you are not buying the game from Gamestop, you are buying Xbox Live credits.

That is not fixing the XBO, that is just making a clone PS4.
I guess I just don't know a lot about making a software file available for download, but it sure doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal. What am I missing?
Well... I am one of those people he is talking about, I can't see the difference in visuals between the two systems. I just don't see it... but then again, I have some age to me so I don't see as good as you young'ins anyway.
That being said, I remember the days when everything resided on a server and at work we used a dumb computer, it was nothing but a keyboard and monitor, the processing was done on the server. It seems Pratcher thinks there is a chance...
Wow... this game is still having problems. I got rid of mine soon after launch because it was unplayable. Tried playing over Christmas vacation and it kept pushing me out of the game to the main menu. So, I got frustrated and was able to talk the support team into a full refund (it was a digital copy). I was thinking about a repurchase, but after reading that, I will wait for the next installment and hope it is better.
I am sure that is related to personal taste then, because I don't get into SimCity nearly as much as Civ...
That was an interesting analysis of ME3 and the future of gaming.
I can't tell you how many hours I spent over the years with Rock Band... used to have parties where Rock Band was on and played for hours and hours.
I am, however, surprised Sid Myers' Civilization is not on the list. I play that game over and over and over again.
I was wondering what caused the big drop is sales across the board. I guess everyone bought last week before the tax hit.
"Yet instead of doing something like this, sites are spewing absolute stupidity like saying the human eye can’t see the difference between 1080p and 720p. They made misleading spec comparison tables that hid the real specs of the systems for generic descriptions. They’re trying to hide the issue. Shove it under the rug, and hope that no one notices."
He didn't say that, he said there are sites saying that.
Some spoilers in this video, beware...
Nope, you are not the only one... but I am glad to see they are thinking about how Rock Band will make a return.
Not sure why everyone thinks Microsoft needs a Kinect-less Xbox One to "comeback". People were saying that PS3 should get rid of the Blue-ray player to make it more competitive, but Sony ended up selling more units at the end of the generation...
Well, it is better than how Sylar got his powers, I guess.
I think it has something to do with the robots...
I have to agree... there is no use spending time programing for an add-on unless you just have some extra time before the release date.
