Good for you. You're not a mindless sheep that follows the status quo. You make your own personal choices and overlook the latest trends. You're a black sheep.
Don't get me wrong this is a complement not sarcasm. I want the PS4 and have my personal reasons not to buy an Xbox One.
I to want to buy the consoles that make me feel enthusiastic. You buy what makes you enthusiastic. It's not my place or anyone's place to tell us what consoles to...
My Neutral comment.
Is the latest Apple I-pad device worth more then the latest Windows tablet?
Value isn't hard coded or simple. It's decided by what people are willing to pay. If someone sells a $500 device that does the same as a $200 device what decides the value? Some people will still buy the $500 device because of it's brand or other reasons.
You can never tell these days why people think the way they do. People are fickle ...
If they develop for both PS3 and PC I'd assume PS4 be easier then making it from scratch. The developers have mentioned how easy these next gen consoles are to program compared to last gen.
"from an architectural standpoint, they couldn't be further apart when looking at ease of development and similarities to PC development."
It'll still take work and resources but I doubt they won't be able to reuse some code from the PS3 and PC ve...
I agree though I think her intent was obvious.
I did look at it. but not to the end where they FOUND out it was his mother. Busted me quick skimming.
kotaku.com and it's tabloid tactics to catch people off guard and attract clicks. I was BUSTED this time.
From a gamers stand point I don't want to see people get fanatic about games.
The boy really was kidnapped.
The boy was the son of a developer.
The person who kidnapped him wasn't a crazed gamer. It was his mo...
Looks like those real psychopaths are starting to take action. Who would kidnap a kid because their multi-player guns of choice got nerfed.
People that do this because the developers made software changes are unstable to begain with!
I hope they catch him/her and put them in a mental institution for a long long time. (WITH NO GAMES!)
I feel for the man. Other developers might be more reluctant. I know developers have done stuff that pissed me...
This is sad. People told me SE learned from their mistakes with a realm reborn. I Disagreed then explained my feelings from experience. Yet another asinine policy is created out of the blue.
This is just my opinion. If it's only against videos where people place 3rd party advertisements in the SE videos then it might not be all that bad. If it Blocks all types then sounds wrong to me.
That and RRAM aka ReRAM should be in the market by 2015. This might not make games look better but it'll help with storage and instant on. Even speeding up the system by having a solid state type cache for large games.
Faster loading etc.

The thing people forget is gaming consoles are designed in such a way that developer will ...
For JRPG fans this is a sleeper hit. I found it very interesting and better then I expected.
It's also a very easy to get a PLATINUM trophy if you invest a little effort into it.
As I stated.
"I will stand up and bring attention to a problem if I feel it could change the entire market in such a way that leaves no alternative routes. I will try to be as objective and mature as possible but everyone is different."
This entails most of your argument about the "care" relationship. Sure there are atrocities when employers valuate human rights. The comments I made aren't about human rights or on that level.

This is not directed at your person. It's a cause effect relationship to the strong well thought out points you mentioned.
This is the fear and insecurity that creates the love hate relationship I mentioned in a previous post. It's the basic underlying need to defend the healthy memories we gamers had in the past. This defense mechanism sometimes takes destructive turns with members of the community.
These people might not be mature or stable to bega...
Look at it this way. You don't need stock or ownership of the company to have a vested interest in it. Sure as a customer you have no real rights to tell a developer how to run their business.
The one thing that people fail to recognize is customer loyalty.
You build loyalty by…
1. keeping touch with customers using email marketing, thank you cards and more.
2. treating your team well so they treat your customers well. <...
"I just want to stress one thing. This blog is in no way encouraging people (not) to complain"
I understand fully what you're trying to convey. I agree people need to complain in a constructive mature way. My comment was directed towards the reason why some of those people may be reacting inappropriately when doing so.
I never once thought you wanted people to just shut up and deal with it. I simply wanted to add something to the assist the blog...
People sometimes troll or become destructive critics because they have insecurities. Most of the time these people are overly enthusiastic or lack the discipline to be mature and constructive.
The underlying issue is the insecurities and deep down fears that some gamers have. IMHO, I'd hate to see one company monopolize the gaming industry. It'd be very disheartening just thinking If one or more anti-customer standards take a foot hold in the gaming ecosystem.

He's just saying.
Company Policy is like Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics.
Example:
"A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."
"A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law."
"A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Secon...
That's not 100% true. Some people don't like the policies and methods Microsoft have used. It's not always about loving one brand or another.
When I look at the Sony brand I'm not totally in love or complacent to everything they've done either.
Does this mean other people are investing as in the same values I follow? No, I didn't like several changes and policy practices Sony made either. I liked plus when it was optional now that it...
Interesting. They're basically using the drive structures as the rooms and doors. The files as the NPCs enemies etc.
I bet you could take this creative concept and utilize it on a single image file. Just swap the bits or order to mimic a base key. Then select random patterns found in the image file to create workable sequences.
Fascinating!
I'd see the single file dungeons as more social then ones created based on the unique nature o...
@Sithlord-Gamble
That's a fair assessment. Microsoft has always been competitive with Apple. I don't disagree with you. After seeing all the advertisements from Microsoft using taking advantage of the cost differences between surface and I-pad I can see your point.
They've done a lot to attack Apple in the past. This is part of the policy I see but then again I see how Apple has taken advantage of customers. The commercials showing the positives a...
I see what you're saying. LarZen.
You want the ability to RENT and HOST a server for your *personal* use. That way you can invite players to say, your KillZone server to play in an environment outside the PSN service and it's online terms of service rules.
You need to change the wording from dedicated servers to "Personal User Dedicated Servers" This way people understand you want to host your own private servers instead of using Sony's ...
What! no Dark Cloud, Nino Kuni or, Rogue Galaxy?
Level 5 rocked those games.
