Are the HDML5 features are behind the pay wall? What point is having a bunch of features behind a pay wall?
If you've bought the console why is it okay to pay by renting the rights to use basic features that should be given freely? Think about it most features are behind their Live subscription pay wall.
If you don't subscribe to live exactly what features aren't behind the pay wall? Think about it closely. It's okay to enjoy a product/featu...

"Point this out to square enix."
They're set in their ways far more then most people understand. Unless someone represents a large majority of interest that impacts profit potential its best just to avoid discussion.
The game itself is high profile and has a lot of positive public opinion. It's nearly impossible to talk openly about how the company mitigates things without ridicule. Lets leave it at that.
On FF11 when I started with PS2 version I was allowed to load the game across any platform. There was no need to transfer from PS2, PC or X360. The only downside I had was getting the software and having it installed/updated.
The company didn't care what version I connected by provided I had a paid subscription. The company had problems with payment methods, security, customer support and regional issues but, I could pretty much load any client up and play my characters. ...
There where a lot of times I wanted to record my gaes. I buy them to play them. The last game I wanted to show a trick with was Resonance of Fate farming a rare item. I found a way to do it super easy and fast.
In my greater judgement I didn't have the resources or time to setup and record the 10 min playback showing the flawless procedure. So the public never saw my technique.
I was proud about the technique I figured out. I wanted to show others. Do ...
Photo ID for a game? What's next implanted chips. If I had the pre-order slip I could get any game in the past walking in store. When online if I bought a game they never required me to scan and upload a photo ID.
I suppose since it's a MATURE game it might need some proof of age but to treat a game like alcohol. Just looking at the guy should give the average age +/- about 10 years.
Where are we going in society perhaps cussing should be a felony bec...
This is new to me. Please explain how multiple players can log on PSN using a single PS3 at the same time. I'm very interested in knowing how to do this.
I'd like to play a few multi-player Tales of games and have partners win trophies with me.
Woah, my guess so you can have three others get TROPHIES while playing a multi-player game. On PS3 the only player who gets credit is the user who is active online.
Am I right?
From what I've been reading for Microsoft to get respect in Japan they'll need create a offices or factories in Japan and fill it with locals workers. That way it becomes at least a partial Japanese business.
IMHO: Microsoft is like a caged animal looking for ways to escape their own trap they accidentally stepped in.
@insomniacgamer
Woah, there where did you come up with those conclusions. You sound almost aggressive. I never once said anything about suppressing our rights to scrutinize what they're doing.
In fact is made it quite clear that I condemned R* acts to an extent. I don't know why or how you missed that in my comments.
I gave simple examples that exemplified fact from opinion. I basically said it stinks and is wrong morally wrong from m...
@insomniacgamer
You're response is based around a form of entitlement. Although, I agree that R* shouldn't be so strict I understand the correlation between moral and financial repercussions.
Personal opinion is subjective. In this case the reality of possible legal consequences are not. They both bind society but one has a dominating factor. That factor is govern by well written rules and laws.
Even if I disagree that I shouldn'...
I To agree with this. It's corporate abuse. They have the rights to limit their content released to the public. The owners of the private servers also have the right to block/defend content on them but they won't.
Just look at what legal issues that happened to Napster.

"It's NOT illegal to post the gameplay online."
No, but the content owners can contact the owners of the services who have the content on their private servers remove or ban the user legally.
The private server owners don't want sued for copyrighted content being shown ESPECIALLY if the owner request its immediate removal. It's a lose lose battle and the safest solution is to protect their interest first.
It's a gre...
Look up Corporate Censorship and laws.

Being humble, not really. He's saying they aren't going to fight the grain anymore and let their games, services and hardware speak for them. IMHO It's more or less a conceited and/or competitive way of getting in the last words before a big fight.
This is about the only thing they can do to save face at this point. If they continued to try and deceive the market it'd keep slapping them in the face. Also, If they admitted to deception it'd openly tarnish t...
I agree they've been talking the talk like a great and powerful all knowing wizard. I'm no Microsoft fan but this time the response to kotaku was actually very professional.
He basically stood up and said something like:
Okay guys I'm not going to argue and make myself out like an arse. We think our console will preform well for the foreseeable future despite the technical specifications. Let's just let our games speak for us.

No offense taken. This is exactly the conclusion I had. The only thing that hurts me is my patience these days.
Like I said I really loved this game on the ps2. Now having a copy to replay shatters the great memories I had playing them a second time.
The only game that I played multiple times from start to finish is Chorno Trigger. Not new game plus multiple versions across platforms. It only disappointment me once when I had to return the rental.

Since it was PS3, I assumed that more content would be voiced over. They could've at least did something like Rune Factory Tides of Destiny. The part where when you speak to someone you hear a voice reminder to supplement the text content.
I assume since I'm used to this gen a lot more content is voiced over then back in the Ps2 days. Games like Tales of Xilla et have a lot of voiced content. It's still not 100% perfect but it helps a lot when a game has a high pe...
@stuna1 and anyone who disagrees.
"look at it from this standpoint, when a new model of car rolls off the assembly line, yet it's the next year model, does the person purchasing it have to wait until the following year to drive it!?"
That all depends on if the manufacture had a **CONTRACT** that limited the resale of the product prior to it's purchase. If a dealership sells it then they've breached contract. No the police won't arres...
It doesn't matter what company I choose. I have my own opinions. Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft all ruffle my feathers. I'm just one person and always choose the lesser disdain towards all.
Seriously, after what Microsoft tried with DRM licensing on XB1 and Windows 8 metro can you honestly with a straight face look at people and call them fanboys? There is some very well documented practices and policies that shouldn't be ignored. Ignorance of history is no excuse. ...
